First of all i love this store I shop here all the time my problem though is the management. Always yelling at their employees and setting unnecessary policies. I saw so much employees walking out crying it's sad. Hopefully it gets new management.

It’s a nice store, but there’s not always the most popular styles. It’s definitely one of the more old school Goodwill’s, but they’ll have a few hidden gems.

This goodwill is very neatly arranged. Very clean. Seems like there’s always staff cleaning. Cashiers aren’t bad. This place has some really good hidden treasure. Never a bad experience whenever I go. I’m a huge thrifter!!

You can buy a new t shirt or tank brand new for $7 and that’s how much they price them here. A t shirt should be 1-3 $ pricing here is terrible

Most of the cashier ladies are very nice I'm honestly here to complain about six table chairs that they had and I wanted to buy two and they wouldn't let me do it they said all six had to be sold, even though there was no table to be found!!! It's probably not the biggest problem with the store but super frustrating

Hello , I shop at the Valpo goodwill a lot and spend quite a bit of money there ! I returned something recently and they gave me a store credit no one ever told me you had to use that in 30 days… it was for 48.15. This was about a month ago ! so today I went in to Goodwill spent over $100 went to use my store credit and she told me that there is nothing on it and if it’s older than 30 days than it is voided. Then she threw the card on the garbage. I wanted it back and she refused to give it back to me. I honestly don’t know if it was past 30 days either way the situation was handled very poorly and I am out of $48. I find that very ridiculous and frustrating.

I usually bring all my donations to this Goodwill. I will no longer donate here though. First, they don’t even help you unload your donations anymore. They just stood there as I unloaded a heavy glass end table by myself. I also donated a very pretty chandelier that they told me to put in a bin. They took that bin away and brought it back as I was unloading the glass table and told me that they don’t accept chandeliers. I took it put of the bin to put it back in my car and it was now broken. In addition, I checked the store out last week and saw that most of their items are insanely overpriced. Why would I buy an old picture that has clearly been used, for the same price as one that I could get at HomeGoods? Some very poor decisions are being made at this store and sadly it will affect the people that are supposed to benefit. You can do better!

Paid $120 for a dresser, it fell apart as the staff was taking it out of the building. Had to argue with the raccoon looking manager to get my money back, had to have her boss do the return. Then a customer tried handing them a computer printer and said, “I don’t want it to brake so I’ll just hand it to you.” That same manager said, “oh that’s fine, just throw it into the bin.” ??????

Do NOT Donate Here! This location will not help you unload boxes. They have rolling bins to place your items in while staff stands there to watch. They also break glassware on purpose. I heard breaking glass, so I warned the employees that the boxes I was donating were mostly antique glassware and crystal. I opened the container to show the guy and he said, stuff like that we will keep, precious moments we will sell. As I got back into my car I saw other employees standing around a large bin tossing glassware in to shatter, I saw one hold up a crystal dish I donated and toss it in the same bin in order to break it. Had I known that they would break antique crystal I would have donated to a shelter or church or posted on Facebook for free….

I have been shopping at Goodwill for many many years. I used to go there weekly and enjoyed browsing, however, I find that their prices have gone so high that I look for other resale stores. I can't understand why you are charging $8.99 and up for a tank top, $9.99-13.99 for shirts, 12.99 to 18.99 for jeans. Everything is used and donated free to Goodwill. I can go to Walmart and get new stuff for that price. The point of Goodwill is to help those in need and financially tight be able to afford clothing and household items. Goodwill also have daily specials depending on the tag color and St. John Indiana store hasn't done that in a couple years. Honestly it's getting too expensive for me to shop at goodwill. They really need to revisit what they are charging for donated clothes and items. Please make it more affordable for those who need the help!

I have gotten good stuff here but for the most part Goodwill has become completely overpriced. A basic glass pitcher was $6! They are getting all of this FREE and charging almost what you would pay for new. The corporation has gotten greedy imo. I don't donate here anymore and rarely shop there.

Had to drop off some donations. There was a long line. There wasn't anyone out there to help unload. They only had 2 bins out there to put your items in and they were full. There wasn't anyone out there to give a donation slip.

This specific goodwill is hilariously overpriced. $15 for any pair of Nikes, whether they’re wearable or not. $7 dollar T-shirts. $5 books. Save yourself the time and don’t visit this one, go to LaPorte in Michigan City.
