What a wonderful experience I had at Gils drugs......I needed a walking cane and they had them in stock my insurance covered one and I had a prescription but no other pharmacies or durable medical suppliers could help..... plus I had a prescription filled within a few minutes !!! I can't express enough how helpful they were and very friendly !!! they've been in business since 1955 that really says a lot about a family owned drug store...support small town businesses

This Place is a Joke! You can hear the people in the background talk about the customers and I was walking in! The owner to say was one of them.. To be in the neighborhood and hear this what a shame of a company, took my business elsewhere. Prices are just as similar as expensive as Walgreens’s & Cvs

Gils went out of their way to mail a prescription to us while out of town. They saved the day by going the extra mile and taking care of us the old fashioned way. Great customer service!! Thank you!!!

Excellent service and prices. Walk-in vaccines and flu shots. I saved $1000 annually by moving my scripts here. And they have ice cream ?

I went on vacation I was with the 85-year-old woman on dialysis who left her pills I called her dialysis doctor on the center she goes to shockingly no response nothing they could do she has a primary that was able to fill a few two days into our trip we don't have any meds I called Gil drugs they dispense her medication monthly thank God for you guys they immediately got her pills together overnighted us enough till we got home and pretty much saved her life I can't thank you guys enough

Nothing but liars and thieves at Gil's Pharmacy Valparaiso,IN. Recently this pharmacy has lied to a long time patient about filling my prescriptions. I have tried to fill one just to get a response we have it in stock but we can't fill that type of prescription. The taller blonde - gotta get her name, said we are only giving to our regular customers instead, I said I've been a longtime customer for years but you were out of my medication so I had to transfer. She then asks what others prescriptions I had to fill along with the one I was asking about. She then recants and says you know what we can't fill your prescription's for you. Very unprofessional place for a small business. This pharmacy in the past had shorted my medication about 5 pills or so before when the blonde was on the shift. I called to let them know, either someone is stealing from your pharmacy or they shorted me and the young Gil on the phone tells me no not from here. I said I'm not looking to get any for replacement I'm just letting you know who's working for you. Do not go here unless you want to get entrapped by these people. Previously this place said if you get your prescriptions sent here you can't transfer to any other pharmacy. They're like the mafia you buy from us you stick with us. Gangster attitude and it was the blonde again that said this too me in the past. Do not work, be a customer for these people. They need a delivery driver don't help them.

This place just denied my medication and ask why I’m getting it fill there . Are u coming back to us. I said No & why r u asking me this. I shouldn’t be asking anything. This is not the owner. They r mad that I left them awhile back. So she said No that they are not filling my medication since I’m not coming back. Is that legal

Robin has been a tremendous help to me the last few days re changes in my meds & script. My primary dr recently retired & his script for my blood pressure med was expiring plus due for a refill. Robin therefore contacted my cardiologist re the situation who approved & wrote a new script for me for refill. Robin was in contact with me & ensured my med was delivered ASAP! Robin follows up immediately if there are any changes on my heart meds or an additional med required due to recent hospital stays. She always ensures that the script is processed and delivered out to me in a timely fashion. Robin has been so helpful to me whenever I have an issue or need to follow up with the doctor(s). She’s always checking with me to make sure I’m OK with everything and is very thorough. Robin is a great asset to Gil Drugs with her awesome customer service in meeting and exceeding my expectations, plus being very kind & courteous. I have great confidence in Robin! I’m very appreciative for all that she’s does. Robin works very hard on my behalf!

The staff here is really nice and accommodating. The pharmacy staff is really knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions you may have. If you need something they don't have in stock, they can get it in a day or 2 at most. There is never a long wait and the candy selection is awesome. The owner will come out sometimes and ask how you are doing, how have you been... like a great old fashioned pharmacy in touch and in tune with the community it serves. I switched from cvs to Gills and will never go back. Gills also delivers and does a great service to many of the retirement homes in the area.
