βStore is always clean and the chicken is good. Theyβve really done a lot inside to spruce it up and the store looks great. Staff is usually friendly and I will go out of my way to stop here for some of my tobacco products.β
βI mainly go here because it's the closest place with top-tier fuel that's recommended for my truck. The store is not too bad. Usually has a decent selection in stock.β

They always have lots of candy and soda. It's kept very clean. The bathrooms are very clean. The floores are spotless and and the staff is extremely nice. AND the atm machine is never out of service. I always go in in the evening after work. And there's this one girl who is always doing something sweeping cleaning. Wiping down the soda machines stocking the coolers, she's always working hard and in a good mood. These folks work really hard. I

βOverall, this is a nice place to do business at. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful (especially the Owner/Manager!), and you can tell that your business is appreciated here. The store is conveniently located next to the Town & Country market, and I like the fact that getting in and out of the lot is pretty easy compared to other gas stations. Fuel pricing is always competitive here as well. The store is usually very clean, organized, and features a good selection of common convenience store items (soda, chips, cigarettes, etc.). A restroom is also available for customer use, and is always very clean. My only complaint about this location is the pricing of grocery items inside the store. Cigarettes, beverages from the cooler, and grocery items are noticeably more expensive than at competitor's stores (ie: Speedway). However, the friendliness of the staff and this store's location usually offset my pricing concerns. I guess I'd rather pay a little extra for quality service whenever possible. Again, this BP is a nice place to do business at, and I do recommend stopping by.β

βThe staff here are generally friendly and always helpful. They always seem busy but willing to help regardless. I wish they had a greater variety of icee flavors but otherwise it's a good selection of gas station typed things. We like their donuts and muffins as well.β
βOrdered Barbecue Chicken Pizza... .WOW!! Delicious!! Loaded with white meat chicken. Bacon, onions, and just the right amount of bbq sause!! Oh ya lots of cheese too, for a gas station I couldn't believe my luck...I found my pizza place!!β

One was stocking shelves and the other running the cash register helping a gentleman find out how much the lottery was. I will always stop here for drinks and snacks when we drive thru this town!!!β
βIβve had multiple situations now where it was too late for me to work on my bike so I would have to lock it up here or it would rain and I would have to work on it here people from the city would come up to help me the employees would help me. Every time I come here the employees do nothing but make me feel better they are the opposite of the Valparaiso Police Department thatβs why Iβm enjoying some donuts and coffeeβ
βI would hope that Murphy's would continue to keep their gas prices below Family Express !!! Family Express pushes other competitors out of business, either by being the bully of the area or gets the ones that don't give into his way of doing business, creates a problem with their competitors tanks in the ground !!! Nothing is as low as Gus Olympitas the owner will go !!!β
βIt's a pretty generally pretty clean with a friendly staff. Their baked goods are 2nd to none and there are many locations. I recommend getting the mobile app because the rewards program is great.β

βdesperately wish my vehicle could make it to ernie's to be worked on... i've had nothing but top notch service here over the years on two different vehicles. when they were doing my oil changes and maintenance my car was in perfect condition. i was a delivery driver, detailer and porter in valparaiso, very familiar with most automotive businesses and i full heartedly trust ernie's only. unfortunately i moved out of state and after having to take my car elsewhere, it is in horrible shape. i'm about an hour out from valparaiso now and haven't had luck finding anybody of similar quality.edit: i'm seeing some other reviews about the techs being condescending to women. i am a female in my mid 20s and have personally never had that issue. mike and robert were always very pleasant, they are who i remember helping me.β

βHad to stay in the lobby of the old KFC from 10pm to 4am a few nights ago.....fighting with bf and I wanted to be safe. The woman was kind enough to let me stay it was pouring down rain for hours. I wish there were more kind people during the abandonment moments because it happens a lot during our out of town trips. If I could move a bed there I would finish my stay in Valparaiso there. I had an interview the next morning there also that was sabotaged so I missed. Would have loved to work there!β

βI stop here often because it is on my way to work. The prices are sometimes a little higher than surrounding gas stations, but it is clean and easily accessible. It's a large gas station and has a lot of pumps, so you don't have to wait. Their food is oddly good for fast food. In all a nice, safe, clean place to stop.β

βI had a tiny minor situation at the gas pump which of course things happened but the manager who worked last night was so extremely helpful and helped me in that situation and took care of the problem with ease! I wish I knew that personβs name I didnβt get a good look unfortunately But he was very polite and understanding and didn't make me feel like I was a bother! Their store is always well kept and clean!! Everyone there is always so friendly! I will always choose this place/company to get my gas!β

βThe employees are friendly and helpful. Pizza smelled really good but, for first experience, I bought two single slices of supreme. Sadly, It was not as expected. Very bland and cheese stuck to the bag. (I don't think this is because the employees failed at making it.) I think it was just the way the cheese taste. The second time I bought food at Family Express, I just grabbed some bread sticks with marinara. Which were okay. They also have fresh sandwiches and other to- go items I'll try next time. Still giving it 4 stars because it is clean inside, and the employee are friendly.β

βBest chicken in all of Northwest Indiana! Michelle and Monica were super friendly and very approachable. They made me feel like they knew me for 20 years. If you want broaster chicken Only go to Little saver gas station. Their breading is different than the rest of the broaster chickens in the area. The owner does his own recipe for Breading the chicken. I get this for all of my parties and Big catering events. I canβt say enough about it, but it is simply βThe Best!βRob Funβ
