10 stars for Nathaly and Allen (didn't get last name) I'm retired and of course on a very limited fixed income. The investment company that is supposed to handle my financial affairs literally forgot to send January's payment to my First Merchants account. You can probably imagine the stress I went through, knowing all the auto-pays, late fees, and potential effects relating to credit scores. I had spoken with Allen who understood my situation and then introduced me to Nathaly Velasquez who immediately assisted me in getting a cash advance from one of my credit cards. I told her I attempted a cash adv but was not familiar with the process because I never had the need to use a CC for cash. It took us about 30 min. to complete, but Nathaly worked out every detail and assured me that the money was in the account and all payments will arrive on time. I've never had a late payment for the past 4 decades and these 2 people saved me.

I have been banking at this location for over 12 years, when I went to make a transaction that I have completed dozens of times in the past, the relatively new employee and manager told me it could not be completed because "she did not recognize me!"

Fees for everything. $3 paper statement fee despite the customer service rep acknowledging I am signed up for E-statements. I asked for a copy of paper statements for my mortgage company and they told me to have them print them for me at the bank would cost $10 PER PAGE. My mother, my wife and myself will hopefully have out accounts closed by end of the year.

The staff here have always been patient and professional. They go above and beyond. Over the last four years there have easily been 20 instances where we have made special requests and gotten prompt and courteous response.

absolutely horrendous costumer service ever since they changed name and management. I have been banking here for over 10 years and will unfortunately be closing my account because I am so trusted with my experiences here.
