Make sure to call ahead and verify pricing and even with that I am not sure it will help. I had pricing from a sales manager, pricing off of their website and even the price off of the window sticker but when I sat down with the salesman to discuss the vehicle the price suddenly jumped $4,000.00 because of an addendum that the dealership put on the vehicle price. First I was told that this was something Ford charged them but after pressing the issue it came out that it was a fee that the dealership put on the vehicle. Very unethical and misrepresented their price. They were quick to drop the $4,000.00 addendum when we started to negotiate the price but they acted like they did me a big favor. Not much of a favor considering it was a made up number from there dealership. Negotiating a price was also a horrible experience. At one point I was told I was going to let the deal fall through for just $2,000.00. Seems like a lot of money to me. Towards the end when I told them I was at my final straw and I was ready to leave they continued to haggle $100.00 at a time. I finally had to get up with my wife and kids and start to walk out before they said we will meet your price. We arrived at the dealership at 3:00 P.M. and did not leave until 10:00 P.M. This was the worst experience I have ever had buying a new vehicle. Also make sure the finance manager takes the time to go over the deal with you instead of telling you to sign here, sign here, initial here like they did with me. Save yourself some time and stress and find another dealership to deal with.

If you are even thinking of going to CURRIE FORD IN VALPO, don't! I called them about a new 2023 Ford Edge and supposedly they had $5500 off MSRP and 0 percent for 60 months (shown on their website!). I was looking at an ST and an SE. The ST was $42k and change and the SE was $37k and change. I called and asked "Benjamin"a Sales Associates if it was $5500 off the price on their website with 60 month at 0 percent? Salesman said yes. I asked again, so the SE will be $32k and change and the ST will be $37k and change with 0% for 60 months? He said Yes. 75 minute drive and about 30 min later I was told that the offer was not on the ST (ad didn't say that!). Then, about 30 min later he comes out with. $40k price on the SE, which is $3k over sticker. We just got up and walked out. They followed us out and all I said was I don't like liars and I don't play games! Would never go there to buy a car! Shady dealership!! Then, they called me trying to sell me an Escape at the price I was quoted for the Edge. I hate lying, scumbag dealerships, and this is one of them in my opinion!!

When we came in to buy the car we previously test drove, we waited an hour for them to go get the car. They advertised over $8,000 in rebates, but when I asked about them, because they didn't over any of them when going over the price of the vehicle, we only "qualified" for $1,700.00. They used "time share" sales tactics by speaking very quickly and trying to confuse us. They would not give us an estimated amount on what an extended warranty would be until we went to the table to sign for the vehicle. The sales person wanted us to give them a gift card to take with our offer like the money down wasn't good enough. When we finally got to the last part of signing the contract, they up charged the sticker price of the car by $700, saying it was because it was an "in demand" vehicle. Essentially taking $700 of the already poor amount of rebates back. The whole process took 6.5hrs. It was the worst car buying experience of my life, and I have purchased plenty of vehicles. Then at the very end they tried to guilt us into giving them a 5 star review saying that the salesman was new and if we didn't like something that someone else did it would still reflect on the new sales person. I will never go back or refer anyone to Currie Motors of Valpo. The only reason we walked out with an overpriced car that day is because my spouse really wanted that particular vehicle and had a lot of time invested in it. It was his first new car ever and I didn't want him to walk out empty handed.

Terrible waste of time. They love to play the "don't shoot the messenger" game. Seems they are more worried about up selling and forcing their "paint protection" and whatever else they come up with, than just selling the car and getting a repeat customer. It appears the tactic is to start high and slowly come down wether it's on the price/interest rate/payment or whatever package until the customer is flat worn out (4+ hours) and just signs so they can get outta there. Terrible way to do business. They messed me around so long I just left and they followed me into the parking lot and assured me if I just gave them a chance they would make it right.. so I gave them a chance and 4+ hours and 2 phone calls later they were just "too busy" to process my app?..... whatever that means... I would suggest avoiding this place if ya can.

Worst dealership ever kept me there for hours told me they would give me the loan and gave me some bullshit. We agreed on 900 a month and they gave me 900 a month for three years and then after three years it was $1020 1200 a month. Worst dealership ever.

This place is the definition of sleazy car sales. Ringing a bell and getting the whole dealership to cheer your new car purchase when you hadn't even been told price or trade-in value yet. Fast-talking, lack of transparency, seeing one price and getting another, dragging out the process to 6 hours...Do not recommend. I wish I would have seen all the other negative reviews before we went to Currie Motors of Valpo, seems we are far from being the only ones with a bad experience here.

Place is absolutely horrible!! Make sure you read the bad reviews before you make the mistake of buying a vehicle here!! You will see soo many of relatable comments of horrible service and the manipulative ways they push you into buying. I'm sick to my stomach that this is even legal....

THEY DO NOT VALUE YOUR TIME! HIGH PRESSURE SALES ENVIRONMENT! LYING STAFF! If I could give a zero star review I would, so instead they get one. I have been to this dealership one time before when wanting to trade in my 2006 Mustang but more or else wanted an appraisal directly from Ford. During that visit I was being pressured and pressured to get into a brand new 2022 Mustang even though I clearly stated I wasn't looking for new. Once they realized I wasn't going to be purchasing they became very unfriendly and rude. I left. I decided on my recent visit to give them a second chance and even opened the whole visit with my displeasure with my last visit. I had called ahead to confirm a price on a new 2023 F150. I was told the car would be waiting out front for me when I got there at 5. It was not. I then proceeded to wait almost an hour to even test drive the truck, which only took about 15 minutes. Once we got back I wanted an appraisal on my 2016 mustang and just wanted them to run my VIN and give me an estimate on my 2009 F150. This process somehow took over 2 hours!!!! (Other dealerships were able to get me estimates in under 15 min.) The salesmen kept contradicting themselves saying "it's been a busy day" but then stating "I can probably do that for you since it's been slow". If you're going to lie at least make sure the lies line up! I wanted my keys back considering they had been holding them hostage for the past two hours. It finally took me getting a bit rude (which I don't like to do) to even get my keys. I talked to the sales manager who finally had the price for the truck after 3 hours and it wasn't even the price that was confirmed on the phone! He was then trying to pressure me even further into buying the vehicle, but at this point they had already lost my business no matter what the deal. I got my keys and left very VERY unhappy with this place. If you want my advice take your business somewhere else where they value your time and don't pressure you on any purchase ever. This place only cares about making a sale and not making sure you're happy. Don't buy from them. Don't give them the time of day.

My recent experience at Currie Ford in Valparaiso, Indiana, has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. The high-pressure sales environment, coupled with subpar customer service, makes it difficult for me to recommend this dealership to anyone. Upon arrival, I was immediately bombarded by a group of overeager salespeople, each seemingly more desperate than the last to make a sale. Although the lot was filled with several luxurious $100k trucks, the customer area and amenities left much to be desired. The coffee machine was barely functioning, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic and uninviting. My primary goal was to inquire about a Ford Expedition, so I reached out to a sales representative to discuss payment methods. Despite asking for a prompt response, I did not hear back from the representative until eight hours later, at which point I was informed that the vehicle had already been sold two hours prior. This lack of communication and disregard for my time was incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, I had already secured financing for the vehicle I intended to purchase. The dealership's negligence left me in a precarious financial situation without a vehicle to buy. Throughout my visit, I had to deal with two different salespeople. My first salesman inexplicably dropped off and ghosted me, leaving me to navigate the process with yet another pushy salesperson. The two sales managers I encountered were equally pompous and unaccommodating. The sales manager I interacted with spoke down to me in a condescending manner, as if I lacked intelligence. This level of disrespect was uncalled for and only added to my growing dissatisfaction with Currie Ford. Moreover, the dealership was completely unwilling to negotiate on prices. They proudly claimed to be a high volume dealership, yet showed no flexibility or willingness to compromise on any of their vehicles' prices. In summary, my car buying experience at Currie Ford in Valparaiso, Indiana, was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. The high-pressure sales environment, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to negotiate have left me with no choice but to advise others to steer clear of this establishment. There are plenty of other dealerships that will treat you with the respect and consideration you deserve, so save yourself the headache and avoid Currie Ford at all costs.

They make everyone who comes in write a 5 star review while they wait 4 hours for paperwork. They made us write both a Facebook and yelp review to drown out all the bad experiences. Well I had a crappy experience afterward. We bought a car on a rainy day. We contacted them as soon as we saw that we had a huge crack on the front end. AJ said it had a golf ball sized hole there and they fixed it and put a whole new one on. Well, they kept pushing me off and after over a month told me I was SOL and that the guy who put it on over a month ago said he did it. I'm sure... BS.

All I wanted to do is check if I would fit comfortably in a new 2023 Maverick. Sales person said he could not show me the vehicle or let me sit in it without giving him my personal information. I said NO and left. I have purchased at least 6 new cars and trucks in the last 10 years and this is a first for me. If I buy it will be from another place.

Very unprofessional. The one gentlemen I spoke to was very pleasant. 5 stars to him. Tried to charge me $300 when my car was under warranty.

I was contacted by Roger the service Manager. Was informed that this is not the way they operate and couldn't apologize enough. Looking forward to my next oil change to be a different experience then the last time. If you have any issues with the service dept just ask for Roger.

Just saying looks like they got a lot of other too. When $200k income, mid 600-700 credit scores, hefty down payment, and literally being pre approved by two lenders for a car on their lot aren't enough to get approved through Currie Ford of Valpo, Either someone there is that incompetent or they just flat out don't care. They didn't have a problem saying they understood I had a real preapproval, they also didn't mind running my credit through multiple banks, but in the end, couldn't even call me. Your customers will remember how you did them when the market comes down. Good luck then

We've bought two vehicles at Currie Ford of Valpo. The first was a 2018 Ford Escape in S Trim. The one extra that we bought from Currie Ford was the 1500.00 undercoating. They took a $5 aerosol can and sprayed a little bit underneath the vehicle and told us it was completed. I took photographs of the undercarriage and a video to show what poor workmanship they did. Then they made excuses that a contractor did the work. They tried to say we didn't buy the undercoat. It took almost a year to pin them down and make them perform a service we already paid for. They screwed it up twice. I guess no one else ever made them actually deliver on this before. They finally did it right. The next vehicle was a used Ford Fiesta. It was my stepdaughter's first car. I told her not to show too much interest but she immediately fell in love with it, had to have it, and showed her cards way too early in the negotiations. These guys are sleezeballs. I mildly cussed them out a little and caught them in several lies and eventually we bought the car. I wanted to walk away from the lousy deal but she had to have the car. It cost another 2000 from a reputable mechanic to get it in good working order and it was a good car until she got hit by a guy with no license and no insurance. Then she started looking at Ford Ecosport SUV's. As soon as we ended up at Currie Ford I looked at my wife and asked her, "Why are we here? These people are scum." She laughed and said to give them a chance. They made it easy to walk away. They lie, they try to steal on the deal sheet. They're just trash. The lot manager tried to intervene as we left. I enumerated the points where the sleezy salesman was trying to rip her off. His excuse was "We have to make money too." We took a short drive to Michigan City and got a much better deal. It's been two years and we don't feel like we got taken advantage of by their competition. I hope the people at Currie Ford get Lou Gehrig's disease.
