“These guys are great! I love my bike. She's extremely old, probably from the 70s, but she's my old bike and I love her. Given her age, I was upset when her original tires finally blew. I thought for sure this was it -- that it would be a weird, specialized problem that I inevitably wouldn't be able to afford, or just wouldn't be worth it, and I would have to say goodbye to my old friend. But!! That wasn't the case at all! The shop was knowledgeable and had an immediate fix for my "vintage" bike. They replaced both tires and she was ready for pickup the next day. “Been going here on and off since I was 12, when me and some friends found a felt bmx bike someone ditched in the woods with a flat and no chain, and we rolled into the bike shop with a pooled together $40 im change for a chain and a tube to get it going. At the time I can’t imagine a bunch of annoying kids walking in with a broken bmx and handfuls of quarters are the ideal customers, but Tony got us set up with the right chain and tube and even cut the chain to length for us on the spot, in exchange for a pile of quarters and crumpled singles. It’s something I’ve remembered for a long time about this placeIn hindsight we probably stole that bike, I don’t think any kid was leaving that behind by choice.Regardless, 15 years later here I am once again, I was having a lot of problems with the factory 2x8 drivetrain my bike came with, and had my drivetrain converted to 1x9 and my bike tuned up in general, everything was done professionally, informatively and in good time with good parts. I really like the change and in my use case it has been a drastic improvement, these guys here know what they’re doing and will get you what you need, done right, with minimal hassle. There’s a reason why this place has been here for ages and hopefully will be here for ages into the future.”
