I had a great experience at Valpo Geek Squad. I had been having a big problem with my subscription to the New York Times for at least 2 weeks. I read it through PressReader. I kept getting a notice my bill was being denied by my credit card. With Nic’s help we finally got them to come up with some old card they had in their files. I came in with no appointment or membership and was promptly taken care of and problem solved.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever been to this store and ever felt like an employee actually wanted to wait on us. I will gladly drive to Merrillville instead.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. 4 days past the 15 day return period, apparently they only make exceptions if you pay $50 for the membership. No exceptions for other paying customers. Not only is this policy ridiculous, but the manager was HAPPY to laugh in my face and to the other employees to let me know she wasn’t willing to help me at all. I have made a few pretty big purchases through this company. This is how they treat paying customers? The young man at the registered even warned me the “manager is probably going to be mean to you” before getting the manager. Called the customer service number, the guy on the phone refused to let me speak to a supervisor.

I was very pleased with the help I received from Kiara. I asked for the store manager after my purchase in order to compliment her professionalism, kindness, and product knowledge. Turns out, it was her. I’m quite impressed with her patience and focus. Give this woman a raise.

I expected more from Bestbuy. I expected items shown online, would be in stock. I expected the employee to be honest. Employee told me HP doesn't come with disk drives in their computer anymore. Another outside seller tried to push the portable open box disk drive on me. The blue shirt told me that the computer I chose was in stock and would be shipped. After the arrival date, it shows up in my notifications that my item is on back order. When I drive over 45 minutes to buy an item and this occurs, you lost a customer. I found exactly what I needed online. Exactly what this store could not provide!
