Nick and his wife turned my ugly shower into a beautiful tub / shower. I am very pleased with his work ethics. I am going to have the same guy do another bath/ shower in my second bathroom. I would highly recommend this company.Services: Remodeling

The workmanship is awful. Paid 9k for a job that looks like it was done by a first-time do-it-yourselfer. Drain does not match up with tub or vice-versa, and there's a huge gap. Sealant is everywhere, and things that should be sealed are not. They say their tubs/shower walls are seamless, but they're not. They caused a major leak in our basement. They said they were to pull permits which were included in the cost but I was told by our Town when I called to ask after the project that they did not; they partnered with TLC Plumbing for the plumbing part and they used a rubber coupler to connect a 2 inch PVC pipe to a 1½ inch steel pipe and left behind the drum trap. We called them back out to fix things, which they didn't do much fixing at all. We ordered a knurled grip bar that they had to come back to install because they "forgot." However, the bar isn't the one we ordered at all. And, what's best, they refused to fix the leak they made because they said, "That's a plumbing issue, we xont do plumbing. That'll cost you a pretty penny to fix." Excuse me, what? You and your partner company did this, and you refuse to have it fixed?? We call a reputable plumbing company, and it'll cost approximately $1,000.00 to fix. So, we get $3k job results, including equipment for 3 times what it's worth and what it looks like, and we now have to pay money to have someone to fix what they broke because they won't. All I can say is that we better get at least 3k back to correct the issues they created for us, or we are going to court. I wonder how a company can stay licensed if they lie about obtaining permits and charging for them. We had two other professional bath remodeling companies, and two plumbing companies come out to look over this work: they wrote us a professional list of everything wrong with the work that was done and are prepared to go as far as need be.

From the moment I called Bath Fitter it was one of the best experiences! Brett came out and showed me what was available and made suggestions...Nick came out and installed everything. Their time table on when things would be ready was 100% on time. The installation was great... telling us every step of the way what he was doing. it looks beautiful!!!

All I can say is AMAZING, QUALITY work! I had bath fitters come in after I hired a bad contractor that destroyed my bathroom. They came in on a Tuesday to quote me on the tub surround, returned and busted in out on Thursday. I couldn't be more happy! The technician that did the job, Joe, awesome job man! Professional and polite! Now off to finish the rest of my bathroom!

I please please please, call someone else.I ended up going through corporate to get a resolution. The first installer cursed like a drunken sailor, left a horrible mess, the drains were leaking, and the walls were peeling off the walls from the moment he put them up.They came back to fix the leak, but it was leaking from multiple places. They DID come back and replace everything. Unfortunately, they sent the same installer to shadow a more experienced installer to learn from his mistakes.During the repair, the original installer cracked my toilet and didn't say anything. The owner was very apologetic and even gave me a discount on the install.Fast forward 2 months, the tub is leaking again. The team in Valpo do attempt to work with you, however, I do not trust them to complete the job well.I've contacted corporate and am waiting on a resolution.Service: Remodeling

I only hired BATH FITTERS after an in person appointment was made and I was informed they COULD recap my cast iron tub! I signed contract which clearly only calls for the removal of the TUB CAP as well as the tub surround. NOTHING IS MARKED FOR TUB REMOVAL!!! After worker arrived, tearing out my wall surround and taking off the tub cap, (making my bath and shower area unusable) I was informed he was going to be removing my cast iron tub!!! I got very upset and explained to him the purpose of hiring Bath Fitters in the 1st place, is so I could keep my cast iron soaker tub! He got Brett, the salesman, on the phone. Brett DENIED we ever had a conversation about me keeping the tub, which is a flat out lie! I told him the day he came to my house that I would only hire them if they were able to recap my cast iron tub! He argued the contract I signed stated it was to be removed (IT DOES NOT STATE THAT), the contract ONLY CALLS FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE TUB CAP!!! Brett even said that acrylic tubs hold heat as well as cast iron tubs! He boasted he has three attorney's on retainer, if I tried to challenge him in court! After acrylic tub was installed, drain did not work. Worker came out, and after being unable to unclog drain, loosened a bolt where the pipes were located , so the water would drain, IN BETWEEN MY WALLS, in the sand, until their choice of plumber arrived, in a couple weeks, when they are suppose to return to repair the main valve that started to leak, after he turned the water off and on. This was unacceptable so I had to hire my own plumber which cost me $207.00!!!

How this company stays in business is beyond me. They do not complete the job and put you through a lot of inconvience. We purchased the shower May 5 th., 2021 and started July 1 st. to workon project. Called July 6 th. to let them know the shower door leaked. Came out to fix July 14 th. and could not fix then came back July 16 th. and said that a part needed to be ordered. A different person came out July 18 th. and said Brett would order the part.. Sept 14 th. the part came in and they sent a workman to put the glass slide on the bottom of the door. During this time I was told to only use three walls and not to get water on glass door and that would stop the leak. I payed for all four sides to work and to this day still feel that they should. i don't like the fact that the shower still leaks. I see no use in them coming back, I feel that they are unable to do the job correctly. I will go to Menards and see if """ I """ can find a way to fix the problem. Please think long and hard before you hire Bath Fitter.

I'm happy that the shower looks great but not happy with the a** backwards design of the shower doors. I'm referring to the placement seal of the twin sliding doors. I called the guy that put in the unit and he told me that how it's designed. He told me to tie a string to a loop in the door to use the correct door. WTF!!! Couldn't believe my ears!!! This will be the last time I use Bathfitters.

Had them redo 2 bathrooms that were previously done with very poor workmanship from a general contractor bathroom remodeling business.. All staff members at Bath Fitter were professional , efficient and completed the job in a timely fashion.
