We live in Valpo and hadn't been to Andersons since they remodeled. My husband and I did a tasting but I guess it wasn't the type of tasting I expected. We chose our wines and then we were directed to a table. It was really slow for.a Saturday and no one took any time to talk about the wines. When I asked a specific question about the wines it was just the wrong answer. Wines.were ok, but I feel the staff needs to spend more time on giving people a wine tasting experience.About

Such a nice, intimate space! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious. There was live music to enjoy while you visit. I also loved that they sell so many sauces and dressings and little souvenirs. I truly enjoyed my visit!

Their wine is great! But they don't use their own wine for events. I'd personally never hold an event there. When booking this place for her wedding my friend was told she would be able to have family style dining and then told no was told it's buffet style, which honestly shouldn't be able to call it a buffet. I believe the owner was dishing up the chicken, but you served yourself the rest, from foil pans. They offered one meat chicken, cubed potatoes and green beans, and a salad. And it was a weird type of chicken, breaded with a slightly tangy white sauce on it. They did bring rolls and butter to the table but you had to wait to go up and get your meal before you could have a roll because there were no small plates or silverware to butter the rolls at the table. The person working the bar that was setup outside did their best, had never been an actual bartender was just the person who normally pours and serves their wine. So wasn't quite sure how to make drinks, but was super friendly, asked questions about what was in whichever drink we were asking for. If they didn't have it, she apologized which it wasn't her fault. But she tried 100%.They also randomly increased the price per plate per person, and since it wasn't stated in the original contract apparently they didn't have a choice, but to pay it.I will say the venue itself with the lights on at night and being lit up was really pretty, but that's it. Now maybe going there for just a night out, for wine, might be okay. Idk

Thank you Anderson Winery for the superb service you provided for an event we recently held at your beautiful facility. We were so happy with the fabulous food, lovely presentation and the absolutely wonderful staff ( who were on top of their game). Everyone is still raving about the fun they had. Amazing job well done.

Really good food and awesome wine collection. Love the vibe and outdoor atmosphere. Erin was a great host and accommodated us really nicely especially because we are all vegetarian. Thumbs up for Kylie and Mark.

I just learned of this place today, so made the hour+ drive over to experience it. Very cute entry and sunroom area! We approached the counter not one but two different staff members didn’t bother to greet us. A third came from out the back, welcomed us, explained the offerings, made recommendations, and took our order. I didn’t get her name, but she made the difference because we were ready to walk out. While our flights were being prepared, we walked around and laughed at the quirky sayings on the coasters, napkins, and flour sacks.I enjoyed a white wine tasting flight, and my friend enjoyed a mix of 1.5oz samples. I have no complaints about any of the samples. So delightful! We also had the raspberry slush wine, and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. It was so refreshing for a hot summer day. We also had the hot artichoke dip and one of the flatbreads. DELISH!We opted to sit outside, and while umbrellas were available, it was nice to soak up some sun.

We decided to do a roadtrip from Chicago as I have been working in the wine industry for over 18 years abroad. My family and I were very disappointed in the unfriendly, almost annoyed staff. Their wine knowledge also shocking as I just asked what grapes use to be grown they did not even understand the question. Anyway. Was a charming setting and lovely wine hope the staff can be more proud of where they work.

They have the Lazy Lightning band play once a month on Saturday's from 2pm to 5pm. Great time To be had by all. N, since I don't drink alcohol; it was nice that they had other options besides just wine or beer.

This place is really really good. Wine is fantastic and the food offerings are great as well. Never been one to visit a winery on a consistent basis, more so visit breweries. That being said, this place has won me over.

This winery location was our second stop of the day on my winery tour. I really like this spot as well and they had the name Anderson so I was like anything named Anderson like myself has to be amazing. It was a live leader crowd and we enjoyed it along with live music. This guy was amazing. He did some Michael Jackson. He did some country. He did some other well-known songs and it was a pleasant surprise. He had an amazing voice. I wish I could have called his name. For tastings were included and my favorite was the fuzzy peach. It was amazing and I had to save it to the last. And also I enjoyed the chocolate raspberry. That one was good. I think far as the tasting goals, the wines here tasted the best. It was really crowded so customer service I think could have been a little bit better here. But I understand it was kind of crowded so you really couldn't get a personal experience with the way staff because they were so busy. But it was okay again. I was my favorite out of the three wineries that we visited and we were having so much fun on our tour that one of the patrons flagged us down n the parking lot wanted to come on the tour with us.

Wonderful! Highly recommend! Love the live music and outdoor area! We came in the other day and we were hungry as well as thirsty. Their kitchen was closed, but they surprised us outside and brought us some cheese and crackers. Such a pleasant surprise! We will definitely be back!
