“I found myself today in a situation while in Wabash from Fort Wayne for work. I needed a new battery for my car, and my current battery was completely dead! After locking my keys in my car and having to have my car towed to the shop, I was super frustrated and exhausted. I called the shop and was worried that because it was 2 PM that they would not have enough time to install a new battery since it was later in the afternoon, and they had already had a very busy day ahead of them. I was scared I would end up having to leave my car in Wabash overnight. On top of that, my warranty company needed the documentation from the shop by 3 PM to cover my warranty claim! By the time I actually arrived to the shop, it was 2:30 PM. The service technicians were amazing! They were very courteous and very prompt. They were able to turn in the documentation needed to my warranty company and have me out of the shop within 30 mins! They accommodated my situation and made sure to have me good to go as soon as possible! I am extremely impressed with how fast and mindful of my situation they were. I greatly appreciate all the help they gave! The owner was very polite and helpful as well! I wish there was places like this in Fort Wayne! Definitely recommend! Thank you to this team for going above and beyond to help me while stranded so far from home.”
“They have never served me wrong. They are a little bit more expensive than some other places but you get what you pay for. They do honest quality work. Glad to have such a quality place for automatics repair in the little town of North Manchester.They replaced a part on one of my vehicles and then it ended up having an issues shortly after and they replaced it again and didn't charge a a thing. I have been through enough of those experiences at other places to know that I would have been charged at least labor at the other places (or been told a lie about how something else was wrong).The story I have always told of what got me started here is I took a vehicle to another place in North Manchester because of a rattling noise in the rear passenger area. Was told the whole rear end was going to need replaced and that it was going to be nearly $1k worth of work. When I said Thank you for checking it out I will have to wait on repairing, but I'll pay you for the labor you have in checking it out. They said oh no this is a hazard to have on the road I wouldn't even put my own family in it. Etc. Blah blah. Long story short. I finally got them to put it back together and I took it to Lambert's. About an hour after dropping it off at Lambert's Terry gives me a call kind of chuckling and says "well I found the problem and if you want to come on over I'll show you what's wrong". So I went over and he had me look under the lift and he says "see this bent piece of metal here, that's what's causing all your noise". Sure enough that was it. He charged me literally $0.25 that day and then asked me what the other place said was wrong with it and he was just in disbelief, especially when he found out how much they were going to charge.”

Called on a Saturday morning to see about patching a tire and getting a new set on my fiancées suv. Upon arrival they squeezed me in and got the vehicle in and out in a very timely manner. I’ve always used the Wabash location and will continue to do so. Highly recommend”

He said he had two cars in front of me if I wanted to wait. I was in a time crunch. he said, " I'll come out and check your oil". He topped it off just to get me home safely. He was wonderful!!! And friendly from the minute I walked in the door!”
“Some things are very reasonable and some things I don't know how they figured the quote. Have a diagnostic done, get price quote and then make your decision from that. Call around, most times there reasonable....they have to keep the lights on too.Service: Car towing”

“I called on Monday to have my SUV looked at due to the check engine light coming on. My wife drove the vehicle Tuesday and it kept dying on her. I picked the car up and took to them Tuesday night not expecting to hear anything until Friday. They called the very next day and her car fixed. This to me is excellent service and great turnaround time. I would recommend Shepherds to anyone in need of service.”
