“It has taken me a bit of time to actually sit to write this review because of the situation.Our Blitz crossed the rainbow bridge on October 2nd, 2023. The kindness of the employees & Dr of this place was incredible. They were so empathetic to our having to put our baby, Blitz, to sleep because it was his time as he had a large mass causing his organs to be pushed down toward his abdomen in his xray which was causing his pain/struggling to breathe, walk, etc & there was just nothing that could of been done.We came in as a complete walk-in & they fit us right in very quickly. The Dr took an x-ray & even allowed my husband to see them so it was clear on what was going on with our boy. They allowed us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes & allowed us to be right with him during his last breathe. It was quick but so gentle. This was the hardest thing my husband and I had to do. It was extremely helpful to have people with hearts during this helping us and allowing us time to grieve during this process without any sort of judgement or bad bedside manners or rushing us out the door.We got our Blitz back on Oct 16th in a beautiful wooden box with his paw print. Today, my husband received a letter from Honey Creek that made me cry...and will make my husband probably cry too when he sees it later today after work. They sent us a sympathy card with staff signatures & apologies for our loss and they sent us some of his fur.No words are going to be able to describe how thankful & grateful for the heartfelt care and kindness that Honey Creek shows us. We appreciate what you did for us very much. ❤️ Thank you, thank you, thank you,”
