Looking out through the eyes of strangers. Observing, listening, and keeping an open mind. Every place can use improvement. Every body has an addiction whether it is alcohol, drugs, caffeine, pills, coffee and being the first to get to work to watch what everybody is doing. There is a lot more tyes of addiction. Rules are good but if it does not apply to all then why bother having them?? Hiring people to work there is good, but when someone's spouse or themselves had issues and was in recovery that person who works there attempts to make it hard on a person that comes there because their spouse or themself got drugs from a person has not gotten over their own issues should of had the decency to say " hey I can't do this admission because conflict of interest, but that person didn't ". Sud counselors could use some refreshing courses instead of threatening people, intimidating people, bullying, others. It does not matter how long they have been counselors, judging a book by its cover is done a lot frequently than you think. If these sud counselors would have listened, communicated with family and that person it may shed a little more light on everything instead of making accusations like they do because they have heard it all before and been around. Well truth be known you have not walked in that person shoes. Everybody could learn from each other in some sort of way. People on meds should not have to miss them if there is some type of meeting. Some of them meds are not suppose to be stopped, some are to be taken on empty stomach or with foods and some meds are not suppose to be taken together. According to state meds can be given hour before or hour after. Signing register that eating 3 meals day, and what plans are people Mark everything because if something is said they are threatened they can be kicked out. Meals were not given 3 times a day because closed due to covid. People asked when program was completed if people could stay past that and they were told yes. Only the guys got to. Looking for jobs if factory came girls could not work but guys could. When people get a job budget managing would help because that is a new life for most people. When people are ready to move to a new house it should be explained to them. Staffs body language says a lot and how you approach someone says a lot. These people when come to facility most is trying to pip (put past in past) and work on pin (present is now). I'm not saying stand and wipe their nose. Everyone has a story and these people come from diff life style. Some people can't wait to leave there because of these issues and yes some go back to old ways because of how they were belittled, threatened, and intimidated. We are all human some people may need a little more pushing in a good way than others. People going to appts, to and from work or after family visitation there should not be an issue parking on side of road or at light as long as that person is not going to door, honking horn, playing loud music or causing a scene because it is a public street and you should be thankful that person is not doing ill legal stuff but doing what they are suppose to be. If someone brings children to see parents and is not causing any issues its best to find out the story instead of forcing people to keep that person away. There should be more family time and COMMUNICATION which there is not!! Some people do not have ANY family close or do not have any at all. The ones that run to tell on someone maybe they are trying to hide what they are doing so they are not on the hook. I believe in calling a spade a spade and speaking up. You can learn a lot by listening and observing. Gut instinct is generally right so you would be cautious and aware of everything. Refresher courses would be good for staff because through the years they tend to forget the basic. My child is doing quite well and continues with good progress.

Mod you don’t fit their status quo(being white) don’t even apply they will come up with a bunch of phony demerits to get you discharged. I will be filing a racial discrimination lawsuit against them
