I think the staff is very rude. They seemed almost bothered that I was walking around looking, and there is a lot to look at there. Whatever question I asked the response was "We're just a guitar store here...". I guess you have to know the secret handshake or be a part of their little ego- based click circle. It's an insult to be treated like that. I had money, ready to spend and they blew it.I am not walking around feeling entitled or expecting a hook up. I would appreciate courtesy and friendliness.

My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the instruments they have. We were impressed at the knowledge John shared about guitars. We were pleased to find out they teach lessons also. This is the place to go for Music instruments ect.

The place has the biggest selection of guitars and amps in the area (Terre Haute). However, their pricing tactics and service are still stuck in the 1980's. If you're fairly knowledgeable in what you're looking for and what the price is you're probably not going to like dealing with this place. I giggle every time I go in there for strings and browse their inventory. The salesmen will do exactly what any salesperson at a music store was taught to do 40 years ago. Hype up the thing you are looking at and justify the high cost of the item. Making you feel like you are not paying "top shelf" condition prices for the used instruments not in that condition. So beware when buying a used item and do some research first.Their prices are on par for new items with any other shops that are not major retailers. So no worries there. Small shops usually are a bit higher than the big chains because they don't pump inventory at the same level as Sweetwater or Musicians Friend and Guitar Center. They do have some cool stuff. So if you do find what you're looking for there and you're good with paying more than what would typically be "fair" pricing for used equipment. This place very well may have that used amp or guitar you've been looking for.I myself stopped buying equipment there. It's 2022 and it is far too easy to find a comparable item for much less. I only go there for picks, cords, strings and whatnot. With Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, and the various music shops online dealing with vintage equipment it's a buyers market now... which is why I said they still think it's 40 years ago and people don't have access to shops worldwide now at the click of a mouse button.

The most unassuming appearance on the outside of this place....Behind the front door...is a portal into A Guitarists definition of of "Used-gear Paradise'' awaits just thru the entrance, waiting to smack you into an alternate dimension..there are often "Rarities" from eras that are too far gone and another time period to find anything like them with a simple google search. THIS PLACE has the stuff you'd never even knowYou needed/wanted..much less have google search for itIt would take days upon days, to even BEGIN to see all the random hidden gems hidden among over 1000 guitars
