“Had the best experience. The extended stay room was huge with a kitchenette, full-sized table, a comfortable king bed and a tv watching area with recliner. The downtown hotel is located close to the famous Crossroads of America--7th Street and Wabash Ave--and is a clean and well restored historic building. The staff is fantastic, so friendly and helpful. I left a bag behind, and they worked to make sure it got mailed back to me. Highly recommend.”

“The rooms are nice and clean, however the toilet overflowed as soon as we got there all over the floor. Other guests were complaining about the same thing. The breakfast was not stocked well apparently they don't have many people working, one worker said, so they couldn't keep up. Brought my grandson to swim, which is why he wanted to come, and the pool is closed. The guy said they are waiting on the health department to reopen. This is not a cheap place kind of disappointed.”

“We just had my daughter’s wedding there a week ago. Everyone was amazing to work with! Amber was awesome and did a great job making sure everything was set for the big day! Thank you all so much! It was PERFECT!!”

“Very COVID-safe check-in process, quiet motel. Room was very cold in January and never heated up even with heater on full blast all evening and night. Heater is loud and intermittent, making it very hard to sleep through the night.”

“I had a wonderful weekend. Everything on point. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. I was so surprised that the carpets were well kept. There was no musky smell in the room or hallways. That is a plus for me. Because I have stayed in good hotels that their carpets smell gross. But over all the stay was great. This will be my new spot when I visit Terre Haute.”

“For the price it was great. I think there's some issue with the website. We made the booking and paid online but the payment wasn't posted till some time even though the person at the desk could see our booking.”

“I only have two negatives about this location. They have no elevators so anyone with mobility issues needs to be aware that there’s no elevator they don’t tell you when you check in and secondly, the breakfast doesn’t start till 6 AM so if you’re travelling to the West Coast. This is a problem, otherwise the room was beautiful. Probably the best motel I have ever stayed in. It was comfortable everything worked. Everything was clean so I give them a 10 out of 10 on that but I would suggest that they are more transparent telling people there is no elevator, if you are forced to go to a second floor room which I wasFood & drinks: Breakfast does not start till 6 AM so if you’re trying to get somewhere typically I’m on the road by six so they need to start breakfast earlier and they have a night person that is just sitting at the hotel desk so I don’t see a problem as to why they don’t do this”

“I travel over 100 days a year for my job and stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly in a wonderfully decorated area. My room, a queen double, was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows, and a country motif! The door is an exterior. All of the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave,small refrigerator, and a nice two cup coffee maker. The hotel has a luggage cart. My air conditioner/heater worked well. The television had a large selection of channels and a good picture. The breakfast area was clean. The snack/soda machine is in a small outbuilding along with the ice machine and guest laundry, $2 each to wash/dry, the drink & snack machines take cards. Is this a new property ? No. The rooms are older and the exterior could use a bit of paint here and there, but the owner and staff go above and beyond to help with anything you need. I have stayed here before and I would certainly stay here again if working in the area, to the exclusion of other, newer properties. That's how important a great staff is to me.”
