“I love this place, but I don't know if we caught this place on a bad day because it wasn't as great a shopping experience this day as it had been previously. Produce wasn't as fresh and plentiful. Meat Dept didn't know what Haddock fish is. Cat food was scarce. Their prices are higher and I dont mind paying it when they have better and more. This trip they didnt.”

“I couldn't find Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda straight leg jeans in the blue denim that I usually wear. They had plenty of khaki and the old like blue but that isn't what I wear. I like this brand because they stretch and fit well. Also, I'd like to see more short sleeve or 3/4 length sleeve t-shirts offered.”
“I hate these stores. My wife made we go here. However, this is the most organized and cleanest Big Lots that I've visited against my will. They even have public restrooms which were acceptably functional.”

“Pretty good selection of items for everyone in the family even the fur babies !! The pet department could use some attention as there isn't a very big variety of things to choose from. But the things they do have are very reasonably priced an decent quality. Staff is friendly and professional. Store is clean an organized.

I know the chain gets a lot of bad publicity, but I think it has more to do with some of its customers and less with the stores.
I **will** say that I am not a big fan of the recent change within the store. Someone at the corporate level decided to make MAJOR changes to nearly the ENTIRE store layout! Those of us who have shoped at Walmart for decades can't find anything!
Only some changes made sense, the main one being the moving of pet food closer to the groceries. The mall-like marketing displays are well done but not necessary. I guess since malls have lost some if their stores, Walmart executives thought they'd try that type of decor. It would be interesting to see if any of those displays result in more sales.”

“So 25 minutes before they close I have a question and I'm calling there is absolutely no one answering a phone. So why do you put open until 11pm but at approximately 10.40 no one is answering a phone? I doubt they are that busy due to public now doing more of their own check out instead of employees that's employed at Walmart.”
