“Decided to try this place. Bought a breakfast Sausage gravy biscuit with egg and I was fantastic.
But … also bought a chicken carnivore. YIKES! No good … the chicken was tough and chewy … tried to just enjoy it but wound up discarding it and spitting out the chicken from my mouth. Hmmm … gonna be careful if I ever order again.”

“Nice store but I had to almost pull teeth, to get the guy behind the meat counter to measure out a pound and a half of ground beef. He insisted on selling me a 2 pound package, but I did not need 2 pounds.”
“GFS is the shiz. They have good deals. And items you can't just buy anywhere. I used to work in the restaurant biz. Now I go there when I want to buy food for parties or gatherings where large numbers need to be fed. Prime rib, pismo's. Buckets of potato salad or old style coke a cola cases. That cost considerably more then cans. does it have real cocaine in it? I don't know. I can't afford it. But their stores are always clean, well lit and well stocked at all times. If you shop there bring you own bags. Because the aren't supplied. The do repurpose the cardboard boxes products are shipped to the store in.”
“You can't miss anything here. Special cuts of halal beef only Arabs consume. A wide variety of arab goods that we deeply miss from home. This is a destination for every Arab who lives near Indianapolis.”

Check the price before you buy. Kroger had a deal on chicken wings. $10 packs. I brought 3 packs and loaded them in the freezer.

But look at the price and then compare. They might have cheap eggs but then the bread might be too high. ?”

“They don't have a huge selection of products, but to supplement, it is a great place to pick up misc and spend less than Walmart, Sam's Kroger, or meijer. Cheap canned veggies and fruits, pizza's are great. Off brands of all kinds of condiments. Chips selection is not a great deal but they have variety.”

“Half restaurant, half grocery store. Impeccable service. There's this cool statue that is right when you walk in. Standard Mexican grub that's always really good. If you want a lot of food do the Surf and Turf. Last time I did Cubano torta...ridiculously big and really good. A solid member of my monthly work lunch rotation.”
“I like this Meijer and visit often even though I live right behind the Camby Meijer. This one is larger and has nicer looking produce than mine. The store is always clean and usually well stocked.
My only complaint is using the app. I prefer using Shop & Scan on the app. Not only for the speedy checkout but because it tells me if there's an available coupon for an item I just scanned.
However, I'd say that 20-25% of the time, the Shop & Scan feature takes forever to load, will Scan items multiple times then buffer, randomly close, or crash completely in the middle of a shopping trip. I've been told that it works better on their Wi-Fi. I don't use public Wi-Fi. I've also been told that reception is spotty in some parts of the store. But all my other apps work fine, so I don't know why this one doesn't. Also, I rarely have these problems at the Camby store.

Unfortunately the quality standards are not as high as Whole Foods as they stock products with ingredients that aren't the best for you. For example, why are funyuns in a store called Fresh Thyme?
Good assortment nonetheless.”
“I used to go to the one in Fishers, was close to work, its smaller than this one. This Fresh Thyme market is really big. Everything is placed almost the same way, so it was easy to find things. The girl at tge bakery was very helpful. Was neat and clean. Parking was easy. Will definitely go back.”
