I started taking my vehicles to Dickmeyer automotive after several bad experiences at a different shop in Columbia City. Matt and Jen were amazing to work with from the start. They take the time to show and explain the why behind what is wrong with the vehicle. I feel confident and comfortable dropping off my vehicle with them knowing it will get fixed the right way. Matt is a great mechanic. He takes you back to your vehicle and shows you whats wrong. He doesnt give you the run around, either. If you dont understand something he will take the time to explain it and not make you feel stupid. Matt doesnt charge an arm and a leg either on his labor rates. I highly suggest going to him for any repairs you need done- oil, having an engine built, etc.

Took my vehicle here for an electrical issue Matt was very thorough and his explanation and and his determination to fix and correct the issue. Jen was also very informative and went above and beyond of her duties. They also pointed out an issue with my steering wheel which we have had since the day we got it and alerted us that it is a very cheap fix but could’ve also killed us at any time.
