The waitress we had was fabulous with my daughter . I told both ladies about her food allergies and the owner I believe went and looked at the ingredients for me to make sure my daughter could have the food- I was so happy and relieved since usually she can’t eat at certain places because they have no idea what ingredients they have. We will definitely come back- such a good parent and kid friendly place!Dietary restrictions: Told them about her egg and milk allergy and they checked their ingredients for usKid-friendliness: Moana was playing on the tv! Love it!

Waka DogI had high hopes when visiting Waka Dog. However, my experience fell short of expectations, starting with discrepancies between the online and in-store menus. Items I had my eye on, like the Waka Burger, were nowhere to be found.Opting for the Deluxe Burger, I was disappointed to find that despite claims of hand-pattied burgers, the taste suggested otherwise, with a distinctly frozen quality. Moreover, the burger lacked cohesion and flavor, leaving much to be desired.Moving on to the Chicago Dog, it arrived cold, failing to capture the essence of this classic dish. The accompanying fries were a letdown—standard frozen fare with a noticeable absence of seasoning.Even the mozzarella sticks failed to impress, appearing and tasting disappointingly cheap. Amidst these culinary letdowns, the only saving grace was the raspberry iced tea, offering a refreshing respite from the mediocrity.Regrettably, the overall dining experience at Waka Dog left much to be desired. With subpar quality, lackluster execution, and unimpressive flavors, it paled in comparison to more budget-friendly fast food alternatives. As such, I cannot recommend Waka Dog and won't be returning anytime soon.In conclusion, for those seeking a satisfying meal that hits the mark, I suggest exploring other dining options that offer better value and culinary delight.REPLY TO REPLYWhile I understand that the menu items may vary, I must emphasize that the quality of the food remains paramount. Check your food before you leave the place. I ordered perch and got a fish sandwich. I didn’t check until I got home, which was not worth for me to go back as I live 30 mins away.

The food was awful. It was on par with hospital food. Burger was bland, I didn't get bacon on mine, and yet I got charged for the bacon. It was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had with restaurants. I will not be going back for a while, until they GREATLY improve the quality of the food. It was that bad.

Friendly, fast service & delicious meal! Tried the pork tenderloin sandwich & coney dog. Super tasty! Can’t wait to taste our way through the menu!

We went today and tried the veggie dog basket and burger basket. The food was great and the service was excellent! My husband loved the way the burger was seasoned. We will be back to try more menu items!

Store is clean and staff is friendly! Food was nothing special unfortunately. The hot dog itself was hard to bite into and the buns could have been softer. The overall new flavor wasn't my favorite.

SO SINCE YOUR CLOSING AND MADE THAT DISGUSTING POST ILL PLACE THE TRUTH HERE...THATS MAJOR DISRESPECT NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THE ONLY BLACK AMERICAN EMPLOYEE THAT BEEN DOING MAJOR SACRIFICING HIS TIME TO MAKE SURE YOUR CUSTOMERS WERE SATISFIED. DUE TO YOUR LACK OF OTHER EMPLOYEES YOU CALLED YOUR FAVORITE!! THATS A SLAP IN THE FACE!!YOU HAVE TRIED TO BREAK HIM OVER WORKED HIM AND TRIED TO MAKE HIM QUIT.. My husband and I are from Chicago so it’s hard for us to like hot dog places. This one made us feel like we were back in Chicago. The service was amazing. The food was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
