An Utterly Disappointing Experience at Notre Dame Credit UnionDear Concerned Stakeholders,I am compelled to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit to the Notre Dame Credit Union. As a business owner to open a business account, I was hopeful that my experience would reflect the reputed prestige of this financial institution. Unfortunately, my experience was a colossal disappointment that left me feeling disrespected and stressed.Upon my arrival, I was assigned to Kris Bumbalough, the assistant branch manager. I anticipated that her position would guarantee me a seamless and professional encounter. Regrettably, this was far from reality. From the moment our meeting began, it was evident that Ms. Bumbalough was more interested in extinguishing her 'other fires' rather than assisting me competently.Her dismissive demeanor and lack of focus created an environment of frustration, disrespect, and extreme discomfort. As a potential client, I was seeking an understanding, patient, and attentive service. Instead, I was treated as an inconvenient disturbance, a hurdle in a race against time.Moreover, the claim of having a short staff on a Friday seemed to be a pitiful excuse for the unprofessionalism displayed. No matter the day of the week or staffing situation, a client should never be made to feel undervalued and insignificant. The lack of professionalism and customer service orientation was appalling.Furthermore, Ms. Bumbalough's assertion that the bank does not offer business account options was a startling revelation. It appears highly implausible that a well-established credit union such as Notre Dame would lack such an essential service. This leads me to question whether this was a genuine policy or a hastily contrived pretext to dismiss me.This encounter reflects poorly on the management and operation of the Notre Dame Credit Union. It seems there is a desperate need for enhanced customer service training and perhaps a review of the institution's policies.In conclusion, this experience was a stark departure from the customary standards expected of a reputable financial establishment. The unprofessional treatment I received from Kris Bumbalough has left a sour taste, and I find it hard to recommend the Notre Dame Credit Union to anyone. This institution must take immediate action to address these issues; failure to do so will undoubtedly result in a significant loss of potential and existing clientele.Despite this disappointing encounter, I remain hopeful that my concerns will be treated with the seriousness they deserve and that necessary changes will be implemented to prevent future clients from having similar experiences.

The gentleman who assisted me at the window was excellent! I believe his name was Jose. He was kind, efficient, and flexible. Glad to be a member!

Super frustrated. I called to inquire about opening an account. Was told I needed DL and SS card along with the details of opening an account. Used my lunch hour as I work 6:30-5 m-f only to get there and be told I also needed proof of address. Just moved! so i Ran all the way home to get mail. All I have is my change of address confirmation. Called to see if that was acceptable only to sit on hold for 17 minutes!!! For a 2 second question. I've wasted my entire lunch hour when it should have been a 15 minute situation. Your manager needs to have a meeting to be sure everyone is on the same page with giving people proper information. I'll find a bank that knows what they are doing.

I wouldn't give a one star but google makes you . I opened this account I was told I would recieve 200.00 for my check being deposited plus my child support and my husband's deposit as well . Fast forward to today their employee provided us with this information and it is false . Obviously they won't correct their error but the aggravating this is I was also told I would recieve this deposit within 6 weeks after my check was deposited. Guess what it's well over 6 weeks and no money imagine that . Update the bank did make the situation right .

This is our favorite location. The staff is efficient, friendly, and always able to help us with our questions. Our dog enjoys getting treats in the drive thru!

Watch out any day during the week after 5:00 p.m., there could be a line nearly out to the street, waiting for a teller to open in the drive thru of the bank.

Regularly receive friendly service that's pretty quick, typically well staffed so wait times are minimal. Been banking at this location for several years and have very rarely had a visit that wasn't fast, personable, and accurate.
