I stopped in to check out the Lincolns and I ended up working with Eric McDaniel It was one of the best car buying experiences. He was very helpful, if he didn’t know an answer he would find out for me. They couldn’t sell me the car right away because of a recall but he stayed in touch to update me on the status. He’s truly is a great person and I would send anyone I know to him to buy a car!!!

Eric McDaniel was not helpful at all and was actually very disrespectful. I live an hour away and went to look at a car. I really liked the car but found the exact same car but 2 years newer, and it only cost $2,000 more. Eric reached out and asked if I was still interested in the car they had. I told him yes, but they would have to be willing to come down on the price some otherwise I would buy the newer car for not much more. He said he couldn’t do anything over the phone, but that he was willing to work with me in person even if it was getting a better interest rate. I drove back to the dealership, and he wouldn’t work with me on the price. He also then said he could not get a better interest rate. He came back with the exact same offer as the previous day. He said “well you haven’t made me an offer.” I made an offer about $1,500 below what they had the car at. He would not change the price at all but said “so you don’t want a fair price, you just want whatever price you want”. He was very rude and wasted my time by having me come back to the dealership when not willing to budge on the price whatsoever after he told me he was willing to work with me. Jordan Ford helped me the next day, and they were kind and respectful. I won’t be back to Gurley Leep Ford, but Jordan Ford will get my business again.

Made an appointment to see a vehicle (time suggested by salesman). Get there 8 minutes late. Another salesman is test driving/selling the truck to another prospective buyer (walk-in) right as I walk in. Unprofessional and wasted my time.

NEVER EVER BY A CAR FROM
Gurley Leep Ford Lincoln OR Gurley Leep in general.
I purchased a car from them in November in a week I was having problems they charge the warranty company 12,000 for the repair that didn't work. Because they misdiagnosed the warranty company requested a refund because they now need to replace the engine and requested that I Pay 6,000 when I refused Mike calls me to tell me that the Vice President James Leep said to do the repair he would have it covered. After having my car for 2 months I get it Back after a Engine has been replaced I'm still having the same problem 3 day after getting it back. Now they are asking me to pay $4,000, I confused about why I'm paying anything when the problem has never been fixed.

Out of state purchase.
Very hard dealership to deal with. My sells person Drake was not very through. Ask about curbed rims he said there was none(both rims left side were), he knew I was flying in on his day off over a week before. He said he would be there, he was not. Vehicle was dirty and not detailed ! Questions about options and how they work could not be answered, ( I guess typical for most sales people, don't know the product thy are selling).
Was charged for title work and I had to do 75% of it !
Also watch out for for the $300 theft protection scam. Was not told about it and it appeared when I finally received my paper work that I HAD TO TAKE TO TAX COLLECTOR TO DO MY OWN TITLE WORK, THAT WAS CHARGED FOR THEY THEY WERE TO DO.

Wasted an hour+ drive was told the vehicle was in good shape was owned by only two people when I arrived the car had a bunch of scratches and dings and dents they are not honest salesmen!

Dave Spencer helped get me into a new-to-me 2020 Ford Edge that checked all of my boxes. I told him what I was looking for and he had a lineup of vehicles waiting for me to test drive. He was reassuring and calming when I got overwhelmed with the process, and after it was all said and done I got to drive off in a vehicle I love!

I suggested Gurley Leep Ford on the Southside to my sister because I had a positive experience buying our truck. My sister dealt with Dave Spencer this time. He was very honest with us and the vehicles she was looking at. She liked a CVR at a different location but new rules said that Dave couldn’t cross sell the vehicle. Long story short, because of their new rules, my sister was not able to buy the vehicle she wanted. The vehicle sold the morning she was going to purchase it. She bought what she wanted elsewhere since Gurley Leep was not able to work with her.
