DO NOT rent a car from this facility. Spend a bit more and go somewhere else. I also don’t recommend Thrifty car, they are the same company. I spent five hours on the phone trying for them to remove the insurance from my rental since I had already paid for the insurance through Travelocity. They told me that they cannot remove it and there is nothing they can do. They kept on telling me to call the original place that I got the vehicle from. I tried to get the original location phone number. At the end I had to go full Karen and they finally told me that there is no phone number for the original location that I got the vehicle from. They tried to give me the airport number, hertz phone number and a different airport phone number.Also their car was sealed stating that it was cleaned and it was not clean at all. There was trash from the prior people renting the vehicle. Worst experience!To top it all off the guy that was on the counter in the original location was extremely rude!! He threw my debit card saying we have to come back another day. We asked why and he finally told us that they needed a credit card not a debit card. I told him why didn’t he just say that instead of throwing my card he then said does the credit card even have money to pay for the rental....!!!! OMG I had to just walk away and let my partner handle the situation.

Rented a Mid size SUV in PHX airport and prepaid the rental to get the discount. Why not. Returned the car early and was told they would not refund the unused balance since I prepaid. Had I NOT prepaid, I would have received a refund. That makes zero sense. I rent a lot of vehicles and just won't use Dollar again. Customer service lady I spoke with on the phone could not provide me this policy in writing or even tell me where I signed and agreed to such policy.

Please do not rent from here and if you decide to anyway don't pay ahead of time, I was quoted for $484 had an online option to pay half upfront to save $50 and upon returning the vehicle i was forced to still pay $484 after already paying $208.

Dollar Car rental is the worst. If you return your car early with a full tank of gas they CHARGE you an extra $25.00 per day that you didn't use the car!! They wanted to charge me MORE money to return the car early! What kind of company does this? Also, when you call you don't get anyone in the United States and they won't transfer you to anyone local. Do yourself a favor and rent from a real company.

What a joke!! I made a reservation at this place earlier in the week because I was traveling for the weekend. When I got there I was told I needed to have mail with me in order to rent the car!? Mind you I checked the policy online and called twice to make sure I'd have everything I needed to complete the rental. Apparently this franchise can add whatever they want to the policy that's already in place. Sounds like an excuse for discrimination to me. Besides who carries mail with them when they travel!?! A completely absurd place. Save yourself the trouble.

First car had issues after leaving area, tried calling in and that was a total nightmare and absolutely no help took it back to where I rented it from and they were very helpful and exchange the car

I rented my car in August 2018. It was back to school at ND so the airport was busy. They were fast and efficient. My rental agent was very professional and I loved the car I rented. This is our go-to car rental in South Bend. The best.

NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. if I could give a negative review I would. First off, the rental was way more than the original price discussed at the time of renting. Not by a little amount either, which I could understand little fees here and there, but not over $150 more. And we were provided with no answer on why the price jumped up so much. Second, it has been almost 2 months since renting the car and we are STILL getting charges on our credit card we used. When I called they only refunded about a quarter of what was taken out of our account. Just be aware that this company will try and take as much money from you as they can.
