I usually move my money to other accounts because of investing and auto pay bills.I did have my other account (TCU) hacked and while that was pending I tried to overdraw, they didn't let me.. I get direct deposit and they see how much is deposited. Not a fan of that no emergency cushion. Good thing I had my emergency card, otherwise I could have been jammed worse you know. 223 W Ireland Rd, South Bend“Update 09/26After speaking to the manager last week about my review I decided that everyone deserves a second chance, and this time the Ireland Branch did not disappoint. I went in this morning and was greeted by multiple people at the front teller line who were all ready to serve me. I was taken care of and was in and out in matter of minutes. I am very understanding that sometimes the first impression is not the best impression and they definitely showed me who they really are today! I will be back and I continue to enjoy my banking experience with United!Original postUsually I go to the Gumwood Rd. branch and I receive excellent service. However today I was on the south side of South Bend trying to make a deposit into my account in the Ireland Road branch. I realized this was a mistake as soon as I walked in, there was no one to greet me until I initiated contact with one of the Caucasian female bankers who was sitting down on the computer in her office alone. The female banker simply told me to be patient and someone would assist me and went right back to typing on the computer. I had a lot of cash on me and wanted to be helped quickly since I was the only person in the lobby. I ended up waiting in the lobby around 10 minutes. The two tellers were busy with other tasks as well as the other two bankers, however the banker on the computer did not attempt to leave her office to assist me. This is never the case in any of the other branches that assist me as almost everyone leaves their office to assist. At many points I really felt like I should have taken my money and went down to my other bank on the same road. Normally I feel valued when I bank with United, however today I did not feel valued.”

1555 W Western Ave, South Bend“High interest rates. We have IRA money here because it is the best rates. Updated: cannot understand the negative reviews. Customer service is excellent. These are the best rates we've found. We live in Arizona now, have moved checking and savings accounts to this FCU and use the mobile app exclusively. It is easy to use, fast and better than other banks' mobile apps. If there is a problem, customer service addresses it quickly. You can get live people on the phone who know who you are. What more do you want from a bank!”
“Bankers were supportive about my concerns. They were patient in getting the accounts started due to my work schedule (3rd shift) and other interruptions.Big reason for choosing Flagstar: it has a branch within a block of my office.”

4400 Miami Rd, South Bend“Have went to this branch several times, every time the tellers are really nice and give treats to the kids when they come. Have went to this specific branch location for resolution on several issues I had with other branches. I also went here recently to do a transaction and my vehicle wouldn’t start back up. I rolled it to a parking spot and a couple of minutes later the branch manager came out to check on us. She offered for us to come in the branch with all of my kids to wait for the tow truck. She offered refreshments even for all of us! This branch always goes above and beyond customer service and our family really appreciates it especially when I haven’t liked the transition from Wells Fargo I continue to be a customer because of this branch! So way to go!!!”
“I had run out of options and people that would be willing to help me so my husband drove me down to the Roseland branch where the manager and teller helped me recoup my money on an unused money order. They were so kind and professional and I really appreciated their help! That’s why I’ve been with 1st Source for over 45 years – they have always taken good care of me!”

I almost didn't go to this branch based on the reviews. I went thinking you never know how the person doing the bad review treated the tellers . Audrey was especially nice and helpful!”

“I recently decided to discontinue my membership at 1st source bank for several reasons. I did a little research online and figured out that TCU was a option for me so I decided to stop into the Main Street branch to see about opening up a new checking/savings account there. Long story short, it was a great choice to do so and here's why. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a friendly welcome from Alivia, one of the employees that works there. She was very helpful and nice and made the whole experience/process easy and comfortable. I even received a thoughtful welcoming letter from her in the mail which even more so confirmed the fact that I made a great decision to join the Teachers Credit Union for my personal banking needs.”

She told me exactly what I needed and how to get the paperwork I needed. She also squeezed in time to explain something to a peer if they ever had another customer had the same issue or request. “Great people to work with. The branch manager and Sarai Hannah worked with my wife and I to re-activate our account after dealing with scammers pretending to be Microsoft technicians. They were very helpful and understanding and in short order had our account back up and running smoothly. They covered every base for us and had a ready answer for all our questions. It was a very pleasant and comforting experience working with Credit Union 1 Notre Dame branch.”
