I’ve done business with CE Lee paints for over 30 yrs from home to business from paint & stain & I remember asking Chuck that I’ve seen advertisements for very inexpensive paint & he said if you LOVE to paint then buy that & you will have to apply 4 coats & buy 4 times as much.. I built my home 15 years ago & used one coat as still looks great!! Thanks CE Lee!

Went in mid-day on a Saturday to get new window coverings for a home we are building. The person behind the counter said there were no window covering employees in that day, and nobody said anything else to us. The window covering display area was cluttered and small, so overall we were very unimpressed and won’t be back at a time when we can only hope window covering employees are available.

We purchased a house with a large existing wolmanized wood deck. The coating on the deck was peeling off and obviously inferior, so we shopped around and were convinced by the people at CE Lee decorating center that Arborcoat, a solid stain would be a good product for us to use and it would he absorbed into the wood and protect the wood. Instead of allowing the deck boards to breathe, Arborcoat seals the moisture into the wood and causes the wood to rot and the solid stain to lift! This product behaves more like paint than stain! We have replaced countless boards, some of them damaged before we moved in and some of them damaged after the Arborcoat was applied. Chuck Lee did replace some of the product after the first year and gave us a free paint brush for applying the solid stain again that second summer. However, for the past two springs, when we hose off the deck innumerable pieces of what looks like paint come flying off! The Arborcoat even peels off when we use a leaf blower on the deck! Chuck Lee has promised to come to our house and look at the deck and advise us what the next step would be, but he has not shown up for two years even after repeated phone calls from us and repeated promised from him! We have spent weeks every summer for the past four years preparing the deck for staining. We replace all boards that have the slightest amount of wo od rot and wait for the deck to be completely dry as per their instructions before applying the product again! Thanks to the poor advice and the inferior product we purchased from CE Lee, we have been forced to spend the last four summers working on this deck rather than relaxing and enjoying it! Arborcoat has proven to be a very expensive mistake for us! The only response we get from CE Lee is that Arborcoat is the best product out there! It definitely is not!!
