After taking my car in for a flat tire, I was lied to about needing new tie rods and an alignment, which was quoted at around $1200. I ended up taking my car to a friend (who’s a mechanic) to look at and he told me nothing is wrong with my tie rods and I definitely don’t need anything replaced. Super upset that they would try to scam me for extra cash. Hopefully this reaches management because I don’t know if they know that their mechanics are doing this.

I want to say Christopher, I'm that guy, and the manager was super friendly and prompt with the service they truly care. I most definitely recommend this place for your auto needs.

People Over Pennies! That is how a business is suppose to be ran, and I know as a multi-business owner.I toiled for weeks searching for replacement rubber for the work truck and everywhere I looked I either found over priced used or outrageously priced new tires. 235-55R17s aren't exactly everyday American tires and as such are a bit hard to find reasonable. When I called Belle, I was thrilled to hear a more than reasonable quote of just under $650 for a set of 4, mounted and balanced tires. (If you have ever changed a tire yourself, you know it's a very physically demanding task. Let alone removal of and mounting a new tire to a rim.)Long story short, we sat an appointment for service (which in my opinion is always smoother for everyone) and they had me in and out in less than an hour. The shop is an impressive modern multi-bay unit with the best of in ground vehicle rams installed. It was interesting seeing my truck on a nicer lift than I own. Lol. The staff was super friendly and the waiting area extremely spacious and inviting. They even have a vending machine for snacks so if you are like me and get hungry while waiting you can help yourself.Thank you to all the staff at Belle Tire Portage Road for a wonderful experience and helping keep what Americans Business Chivalry is suppose to be, alive.

Amazing Service from a Business that values customers!I called around for weeks looking for my tires and either no one had them or everyone was trying to get the tires weight in gold due to their rarity. That is not what I found when I called portage road. They had my tires in stock and at a extremely fair price! Sadly I did not have what the quality tires they stocked cost (which I partially expected owning a BMW) but to my disbelief they worked with me so I could afford the purchase anyways."What's a few dollars over the satisfaction of a customer" was the feel the management gave me, and within an hour had my back on the road riding smoother than I ever was.Thank you to all the staff at Belle Tire Portage Road!

Went to Portage rd. location to buy a new set of tires and be installed. These were preordered a week earlier. They told me it should be ready in an hour. At 1 hour the truck was still not touched. I rescheduled for an 8:30AM appointment a couple of days later. Took them 1.5 hours to install and balance a new set of tires. No communication either visit that they were short help. Very poor management and service. I will be going to Discount Tire next time.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Sam managed a flat tire situation with my college aged daughter and made sure her car was safe to drive 6 hours. They managed everything within 45 minutes. I was floored at how professional they were!!!

I just sat in the waiting room for an hour waiting on my tire to be patched. I witnessed five guys standing around doing nothing out in the garage. They only had two cars out there. We used to bring our cars to this location all the time. But the leader ship and the culture is different now. They have terrible service now. And yes, we have purchased our tires from them many times. Never again.

I recently had an experience at Belle Tire that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I brought my vehicle in for what I thought would be a routine AC system repair and an oil change. However, the entire process was marred by miscommunication and questionable practices.Initially, I requested an AC compressor pump replacement and an AC system flush, along with any necessary repairs due to the pump failure. The initial quote they provided was a staggering $2450, excluding the oil change. This quote included a new serpentine belt, condenser, AC pump, belt tensioner with pulley, and tensioner pulley, along with the labor for these parts.Things took a turn when I picked up my vehicle. Belle Tire had charged me for an oil change and AC system flush, but upon questioning, they admitted that the oil change and flush hadn't actually been performed and promptly removed the charges. The real issue arose when I inspected my vehicle more closely at home. Belle Tire had claimed that the pulley had fallen off, and the clutch had seized on the AC pump. However, I found that the pulley was still on the vehicle, as I had changed the tensioner assembly myself the day before because the bolt was rounded.Upon reviewing their quote, it became clear that they were double-charging for labor and parts. They were billing labor for parts they were already removing and charging for labor and parts for the pulley, which comes with the tensioner and had just been replaced. My overall experience with Belle Tire was unsatisfactory, with questionable pricing practices, a lack of transparency, and attempted charges for services not rendered. I would caution others to carefully scrutinize any quotes and bills they receive from Belle Tire to ensure they are getting fair and accurate pricing.

Refused to repair less then 1 year old tire, would not even look at it. Was told they would only sell me a new one. Nail was in tread, near center, very common place to get plug patch. Went down the street to Zolman's and it was repaired in 20 minutes.

Sam and Brandon were super helpful. I was able to find the tires I needed and get them installed the same day. Great customer service!

Getting 4 new tires pretty much always sucks, we hate to do it. After shopping around, Belle always has the best prices. Professional, courteous, and doesn't make me feel bad for selecting the most affordable option for me. I appreciate the lack of constant up-selling. This is my second set from Belle, and when it's time for another set I'll be back again!

yea I normally don't do this but this is worth the read..took my jeep in there 6 months ago or so my original mechanic put tires on, and said you may have some leaking down the rd around the bead some corrosion build up, few months later tires leaking very small, took it to Bell tire off Portage, and just said I will pay for it no problem can you clean the rims down leaking tires, said the guys said no we will do it for free, we'll I drop it off they never do it, they said they got to busy they will do it the next day, then they tell me there is no leaking around the tires, but replaced 1 stem, so apparently me telling them I'm putting air in all 4 of the tires every 2 weeks is normal, even willing to pay they don't care because let's face it they want you to junk the tires to sell you new tires, so they never do it..... so fast forward a few months some leaking again bring it back and tell them the same issue is going on, again please fix it I will pay, and the guy says we got you no worries no reason to pay.... so i drop it off they call me the next day and say I need all 4 new tires maybe can get away with 2 tires since it's 4wheel drive, and there is a small pin hole in the wall of the tire can't fixe it,I kinda of get it but I never use 4wheel drive they don't even ask that question, and its not AWD and more then half the life still on the tires, Sorry tires ain't cheap ain't replacing for the heck of it, So I Go pick it up, take it to Michigan to my mechanic shop, tire was never taken off the jeep the mechanic said, he found the pin hole leak not even close to the side wall, which they told me no way to replace it since it's basically on the sidewall seen it with my own eyes, he patched it from the inside the right way no problem at all Grinding the rubber down to apply the glue put the patch down used the glue,Said we will see you in a couple years when your ready for new tires.... Ohh and I forgot they said my brakes and rotors were shot, need new front end parts as well, and please remember when I took my jeep to my mechanic he said my tires were not even taken off the studs, for some time, soApparently they can see through all the rims and make that call....new brakes and rotors all the way around, and I got pads, ceramic the good kind, rotors best ones at NAPA and 2 new calipers just because the piston was a little tight didn't want to have issues, about 12,000 miles ago or 6 months ago.... So apparently that was all shot as well, because there was a little bit of rust on the rotor.... This place is a complete joke, and believe me they are getting over on people everyday.... Please check around you will come in for a quick tire repair, and have a bill for over a 1000.00 in no time, once again great shout out to wannabe mechanics/used car salesman.
