Rent here if you’d like to wait in line and then wait for 30 minutes to an hour for them to prepare a car. Currently 8 people waiting for their cars.I’ll be using Lyft next time.

Showed up with a confirmed reservation with a line behind me and was told they didn’t have cars, but everyone behind me got their cars. That was it. I asked how I got a confirmation and they said because I “bypassed the system when I chose a 5 day rental”. Told me to try another place. Nothing else, walked away. I went to AVIS and they moved things around to get me in a car last minute with no reservation. I will never use Alamo, National, or Enterprise at the SBN airport again - all the same people with no sense of customer service or how reservations work. Never again.

Our rental car was not fully refueled when picked up. We had fully filled it up as agreed. Upon delivery, we were told that we would receive an email to clarify the case. But we never got these. Very annoying that we are now sitting on the costs and that the contract has not been fulfilled!

Kudos to Alamo Rental. Selina H. was ever so helpful in helping me with a car for in South Bend, In. I needed a rental within a short amount of time due to a family medical emergency. I am happy to say the whole process easy, w/Selina helping my already stressful situation. She was very quick to respond to my questions via email and very helpful over all.

I haven't done a lot of rentals through Alamo but I am a Alamo Member which saves a few dollars here and there. I used to work in the Car Rental industry so I know how they try to nickel and dime everything from coverage to gas. This visit was the complete opposite! I know the whole process has changed since covid but I've never experience something more effortless in my life. So first off, Alamo and National are partner companies which is why the National counter rep helped me with the vehicle. All I had to do was give them my license (my cc was already on file) and he handed me my keys! What made me leery was I wasn't given a print out of the contract nor was I asked to check the truck for damages. I did take some pics of the noticeable ones but other than that there wasn't even a Lot Tech guarding the exit to the lot. It all just seemed too trusting. But we went on with our Truck, The whole process from counter to exiting was 5mins at most. The truck was neatly kept, no stains in the interior, exterior like I said previously had some scuffs like it scraped a wall or pillar. Apparently it was a 2021 with 11k miles. We really lucked out. We also did early bird drop off, and even that was painless! just lock the car, note down the gas level and stall and drop it in the box on the counter. Wonderful experience! would definitely rent again!

We had reservations with Alamo but not until 8 pm but got in at 6. The two gentlemen told us we have to wait until 8 to pick up the car. I asked if we just couldn’t pay for two extra hours and they said no because they go hour by hour and only clean as many as the reservations they have which is totally ridiculous. Wouldn’t let us pay and we had dinner reservations meeting up with family. That is totally ridiculous as what do they do if someone doesn’t have a reservation. I would give them a -0 for customer service. I don’t think I will ever rent from National/Alamo in South Bend again.

They had great service the young lady at the counter was extremely helpful and very nice made it a painless experience and the car that I got was amazing.

Always a good experience at Alamo. Curtis is a good representative for Alamo. He always make sure I'm taken care of.

After renting from this counter for over 3 months (two weeks at a time) I returned the car as usual to catch my Friday afternoon flight. There were 4 people behind the counter. When I checked for my receipt on Monday it said that I still had not returned the car. Called national service (there is no number listed for the counter). They said to give it a couple of days. One week later is says that I returned the car but on the 28th, not the 19th when I rented it. It also showed that I had racked up 2,400 miles. I probably racked up around 500 miles.I spent 2 weeks talking to six different people at National service. They kept telling me that someone from the counter would call me but the local counter never had the decency to call. National finally and begrudging refunded me for the "extra week". If I had to guess someone that works at the counter "borrowed" the car and had a hell of a trip.I have spent close to $4,000 dollars at that counter over the last couple of months. I will be in and out of South Bend for the rest of the year. I will be renting from Avis or Hertz.

We reserved for a car, but when we got to the airport they said all the cars were sold out. They did not even tell us beforehand! Very disappointed :(
