I left the credit union I had been with for 41 years. It seemed that when they changed their name there, they changed the way they treated members. First Source, on the other hand, has helped me with everything I needed. Sam Daruvala, the banking center manager, has been extremely helpful, although everyone else has been great too.

Time to find another bank, they have been having way too many online issues, I've needed to access my account quite a few times and couldn't, usually this goes away after 30 minutes to an hour but today is a Friday when I need to pay my mortgage and bills they have been down for hours! After calling asking if they got hacked as I expected they said no it's an issue with their vendor?? With everything going on in the world with other countries trying to take down infrastructure I'm about 80% sure this was because of something external and they had to pull the plug on the entire system to stop it!!! Companies never admit to being hacked when it's happening! Because they don't want to drive away customers. I need access to my money when I need it. I know they won't pay late fees to fix damaged credit. Have to find another bank or go back to USAA I've never had access issues like this with USAA. It's a shame because I like this Bank. Its fees are fair but again if I keep having issues there's a saying if you do something over and over and expect different results it's insanity.

Jose Miranda was very attentive to our needs and expectations. He is very knowledgeable and professional. We enjoyed working with him and were always kept informed of the status of our loan applications. We really appreciated Jose's responsiveness when we had questions and his ability to quickly answer our questions. Melissa Tobias was just as knowledgeable and professional. She was always quick to respond to our requests. Both Jose and Melissa were a pleasure to work with. We are extremely pleased with their performance.

Not a bad Bank but it's not without its issues. I ordered checks over 2 weeks ago they never arrived if they were lost or stolen I hope they will cancel the entire box without charging me ? Anyone can use them! When I called they offered to send more out but that doesn't help pay my bills or protect me from my account getting drained.

1st source is a community bank that cares. This is not an Ad.
We were experiencing financial issues that cause insurmountable amounts of stress and out of the blue 1st source called us and said they could help. They did loan forgiveness stuff which helped us get back on track with monthly expenditures

Kelly Schulz worked with me on my construction loan and was very knowledgeable on the entire process, helped navigate the builder issues, and longer than normal build process. She made the entire home process very easy and will use her and 1st Source again in the future for my mortgage needs!
