“Transcontinental Service!My husband and I are in Finland, and my 100-yr-old uncle resides in Loogootee. We wanted to treat him before the holidays with his favorite foods of mandarin oranges and a bakery pie. We placed a call to the Ruler grocery in town and spoke with the store manager on duty, Jayd, about the logistics of making this happen. Immediately and enthusiastically she agreed to do this for us! She had the requested items -- PLUS flowers and a card! -- delivered to my uncle the same day we called. Jayd went way beyond a simple act of Christmas kindness. Please do shop at this location because it truly deserves your patronage. By any measure (pun intended), this Ruler store's management rules!”
