While the place was extremely comfortable and quiet and a great place to stay...in-room maintenance issues were uncorrected after 2 days.

Got to Hotel. Gave us the key. Walked in on people. They had overbooked (girl tried to lie) told us she didn't know. But talking to the housekeeper found out she did it. Left us standing for 30 min. Nowhere to sit due to a basketball team being there. I kept asking what was going on, and she kept saying 2 min. A guest came to complain about their room being nasty. So she gave them a new room? But we had been there for 30 min and told they had to find a room. Called GM, and he came. Offered no compensation for issue. Said they had us a room. Most likely nasty tore up room lady complained about. Told to refund money. Girl said she did. Asked for a cancellation email. GM tried to find it, and she said I haven't done it yet? After being caught in another lie, if I hadn't made them give me a receipt, there would not have been a refund. Money is out of my account physically. He kept arguing it wasn't even after showing him. I love Holiday Inn, but this one overbooks and tries to force you to stay and said, Did you want a room or not (most likely the one complained about). Thought we were in for NBA allstars. Not knowing we were just doing a weekend get away. We didnt have to stay. Sorry, buddy lost 200.00.Beware of this location in Shelbyville, IN.

Rooms: Loved the bedClean roomsFood & drinks: Breakfast was pretty good except the coffee and the soupy oatmealMy only 'complaint' was it was not fresh coffee every morning...they just reheated leftover coffee from yesterday (I am a morning person and I got to lobby and it was cold coffee leftover ...then they later came by around 6 am and turned it on and that what was served for their breakfast)

Loved everything about this nice hotel. Unfortunately, our room was facing the interstate. Noise Noise Noise from the vehicles.

This is my first visit to this hotel unfortunately for a family funeral. We were able to have comfortable accommodations and friendly helpful service without alot of advance planning.Safety: The bathrooms have rails and handles if needed, there are shower chairs if needed. The hotel rooms are spacious easy to traverse even if a customer needws to use a walker or wheelchair. .Walkability: The hotel is easily accessed with numerous near by businesses . Comparative rates and superior quality comfort and service.Noteworthy details: As a family from older to child. we found flexibility for multiple people's needs. The included lavish breakfast. A pool and gymn provides activity and entertainment. As a person who deals with issues with mobility this hotel had multiple things that helped me to feel comfortable bringing family members who are disabled.

Very loud all night long due to how close this hotel sits to I65. Sounded like I was beside an active racetrack all night long. My room was nice and modernized but there was no mattress protector on my mattress. This is extremely frustrating for someone like myself who checks the mattresses thoroughly for any signs of bed bugs. With a mattress protector it eliminates the need to examine every nook and cranny of the mattress. Even most cheaper hotels offer them so I’m really perplexed as to why a freshly remodeled hotel would not offer them.

The hotel is newly renovated and looks great. Had an issue with the in-room coffee maker and told desk.Bathroom lighting was dim and mirror lights did not work properly in room 219.Breakfast was disappointing.No biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, pancakes either because they ran out or equipment failure. We ate at 8am Sunday morning.Food & drinks: I understand cost saving but the breakfast Is a great amenity. Occupancy was low and I do not understand how you are out of so much.The attendant did make a few more biscuits but no gravy.Put a cloud over a good stay.

Great stay. Clean rooms. Service was fine but no big wow factor. Only downside was not have the normal green teas that most IHG has. Location is different. It sits next to an apt complex and there's not much within walking distance. On a positive note there was a quiet and cozy place to sit outside (which surprisingly many hotels don't have)

This location is a bit out of the way, as map took me throughout the different neighborhoods. It was a kind of your, but bad weather to really stop. I drove 12 hours to get this far and I am dog tired. This location showed just remodeled but everything is a bit dated already. I will checkout breakfast in the morning. After a good night sleep and okay breakfast, I could recommend this location to others. I would probably go to a different location, better off of I65 and closer to Indy.I wish they would put me on top floor do to noise from above. I did not receive my amenity points for my stay here and being a platinum elite member we get these.

Hotel was great throughout in all regards. The noise from highway was rather loud / annoying. I would definitely still stay here again though! It was a bit confusing where to turn to get into the hotel.

Noise is so loud from interstate! I would check out and get refund if I could. Hotel room is clean and bed is comfortable it’s just the noise from highway that is unbearable

Probably the best hotel in Shelbyville. Convenient location, clean, and the rooms are nice. Comfortable beds.The rooms on the side facing the interstate have traffic noise day and night. So if you are a light sleeper request a room in the other side of the building.Front desk staff are friendly and very helpful.Breakfast is standard HIE, the breakfast area is very clean.

I am an IGH Member and stayed here on points! Booked a king room and got upgraded to a King Suite! Niiice! Facility is so well taken care of! The room was extremely clean and so comfortable. Loved sitting on the couch after arriving to read a bit before climbing into bed. Slept in and grabbed a delicious hot breakfast about 30 min before breakfast service stopped. Still had hot omelets and turkey sausage left!!! Plain bagel with creme cheese was delicious too. Banana was just perfectly ripe! (Not all brown dotted!) Not the biggest fan of Holiday Inn’s coffee, but love the “price” so it’s a good pick me up for the morning! Fantastic visit!

Rooms are very clean ! Beds are super nice! Water pressure wasn't that great ,however that's typical with most hotels that I have been in. Was a little difficult to find but otherwise great experience.
