“I run into the store on my way home a lot of times. Usually to get a pop and lottery tickets. The employees are quite friendly and polite. I was told the other day that they will start having hot soup. U can enjoy a bowl of hot homemade soup, I believe the guy told me the owner is going to start making soups since cold weather is here. I can't wait to stop in when they have it ready.”
“I went 2 The Speedway Gas Station on Broadway St n Shelbyville Indiana n as soon as I walked n the door I was greeted very politely by the woman that was working n her name is Tina n she was very helpful n she even helped me with finding the stuff I couldn't find n she was very polite when I was done n I was leaving n she even told me 2 have a wonderful night n drive safe n I just wanted 2 let every1 k about her she's very respectful n polite n I wanna say Thank U Tina n keep up the great work”
“They are all pleasant when u enter the store. Very efficient and quick. They also have a drive-thru for those in a hurry or who don't want to get out of their vehicle. Most all tobacco products are available but be sure to have your legal I.D.! You can get fountain drinks, snacks, and a moderate amount of last-minute groceries, i.e. canned goods, packaged lunch meat, etc. Stop by and check out all the things you can get here, otherwise drive clear to the east side of town. You will be glad you stopped in.”
“I'm just straight up Speedway gal. However the Speedway on State Rd.9 in Shelbyville is home base and I know most the crew. I walk with a cane because I have many mobility issues! They have gone above and beyond watching over me. I walk with a cane so if it's not crazy backed up or just late night... The crew will carry heavy things out to my car!!But I've been treated well at all off them.”
“Candy, Jamie, Nikki, Nate (Prior Employee), Lonnie (Prior Employee), have all been like family to myself and my family, something that goes beyond just us being customers and them being our cashiers..whenever I'm having A bad day, no matter what shift, they always lend an ear, when they aren't attending to others, just there for A chat, which has always gone A long way with myself, my family and I'm very certain others...I would walk from Boggstown to this Village Pantry on Vine Street if I just needed A friend, any food/drink items over catching A ride to Pilot or any other store for that matter. When I was A manager out at Pilot and had to walk back to town, after 2.5 hours, I made it to VP, which is like 10-15 minutes from where I'm staying, and one of the cashiers, that just got off work, went above and beyond and gave me A ride home, she didn't have to by any means, but I'm so grateful to have met all these workers, my friends, and hope the company realizes the atmosphere they give off to not only me, is well seen by others...I normally wouldn't take time to do A review, but was in A bad situation recently and needed my phone which was wifi only, the cashier without bayting an eye, let me use her WiFiHotspot, which helped me tremendously and went A long way, shows her character, thanks Nikki! Thanks Candy and Jamie, Nate(Wherever you may be in, your like Carmen Sandiago)! Love and Respect you guys!”
“I went to get gas and the card reader said transaction something anyway took the money from my card but the manager said call a number. One of the workers very kindly offered to cover the transaction! That was amazing seriously saved my day. It was appreciated so much and I'm grateful for her kindness. Shes always friendly when I go in and that extra reach of customer appreciate was incredible thank you!”

“Great new convenience store that recently just opened in the old Anderson Auto repair building. Everything is new, very clean, nice looking, well organized, and well stocked with all the basics if you just need a few items quick. They have hot and made to serve Hunt's Pizza available, large selection of cold soda pops and other drinks in coolers, smokes, lottery tickets, fountain drinks, few auto supplies like oil, few quick canned foods, snacks, candy, bags of ice, and more! Prices seem like they are all correct for this type small mini-mart store. The employees are friendly and greet you as you enter. Great small place in the middle of a residential area, yet located on a heavily traveled corner with a stop light. Lots of parking, easy and fast in and out.”

“I cannot say thank you enough to the pharmacy manager, Heather!! I have been unable to get my CGM prescription after an insurance issue with new year coupled with being sent to a super busy, short staffed Walgreens. It's been 2 weeks, days of fruitless phone calls (2 hours on hold only to get disconnected by the other Walgreens multiple times) along with corporate telling me there was nothing they could do. In a matter of 5 minutes, Heather was able to transfer my prescription to her Walgreens and get it all handled and ordered. Having covid currently (needing to check my blood sugars more than ever), I have never felt so helpless in getting what I need. I understand how rough it is and that pharmacists are completely overwhelmed right now. I am just so thankful for Heather saving the day! I just wanted to give some kudos!”

“I frequently come by this from Indy on my way to Greensburg or Rushville from Indy and this is my favorite Gas station to stop at. The cashiers are always really friendly, which is why I make my stop here! I always get my Juul Pods and Energy drinks here! I like that its small and less crowded and I can get in and out quickly and back on the road.”

“The pharmacy was extremely busy, however the staff were very efficient as well as professional.I received very good customer service & assistance. It would be nice if the store were bigger as well as the parking lot. It is very difficult to get out of parking spot due to it being so small. Overall the pharmacy is doing an excellent job.”

“Good prices on things, a wide selection. Only bad this is there ammo and gun section seems to be lacking. They run sales on ammo but are always out of stock a day into the sale. And theire online catalog seems to have hundreds of items but only about 10% are ever in stock”
