What a wonderful experience our group of three couples had. This home has something new to discover around every corner! Bill, the host, takes time to greet you and walk you through the mansion highlighting on the history of the home and decor. I do have to say that it is the cleanest home that I have ever stayed in. There is not one bit of dust or dirt!!! It is fully stocked with everything you need and more. The beds are super comfy! It is walkable to the restaurants or pubs on the square. On a side note, the house and grounds would be perfect for an event such as a wedding or a themed party/dinner! This house is definitely geared toward adults. I would not feel comfortable having children around all the fragile collectibles.

We used this gorgeous mansion to film a movie in. It had everything we wanted and more. Bill, the host, was extremely accommodating and truly enthusiastic about the mansion and its history. Everyone was blown away by it!

The Charles Davis mansion is a true relic. Its space is perfect for so many purposes and is filled with beauty and charm. This is unlike other places you may visit and is well-worth considering, whether looking to host a party, wedding, staycation, or weekend out of town! We did a murder mystery night and had a blast!

My husband surprised me for my 50th birthday by renting out the mansion for a murder mystery dinner. The house was so pretty and best of all, very clean! Bill left us a bottle of wine and donuts for the next morning which was very thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to gather family! We have enjoyed this mansion for the last 3 years with our entire family. The owners go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for our stay. It is perfectly maintained and sparkling clean every time. There is plenty of room for our large family to spread out throughout the house or to gather together for dinner in the huge dining room. We love this place and look forward to coming back every year.

*VETERAN owned venue* ??There aren’t enough stars to give for this venue.We fell in love with the mansion the minute we stepped on the front porch and knew the second we walked in that this was the place we were going to get married. Bill, the owner, was amazing from the second we met him. His knowledge of the house and his dedication to keep the history alive is outstanding! He was so easy to work with and he went above and beyond to accommodate us! After speaking with him on the tour of the mansion we found out he was a Marine and as a mom of a Marine, we knew it was meant to be! He made sure everything was absolutely perfect for our day! He dropped everything to come back to the mansion to fix an issue we had with a restroom at 10pm. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the mansion and how amazing it was and how Bill kept the house true to the long history this house holds. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. As beautiful as this house is it’s the owners that truly make this place special and magical! Thank you Bill for everything you’ve done for Wes and I! Having my Marine give me away at the Mansion had so much more meaning and even more special! Thank you for your service and your amazing heart!

We got married at the mansion, and we truly cannot say enough about how wonderful an experience it was. It was beyond our wildest expectations! We initially chose the venue simply because we found the mansion to be a beautiful and interesting setting, but what ultimately impressed us the most was the extraordinary service we received from the owner, Bill. He really goes above and beyond for his clients! He did so much of the setup for us, far beyond what we ever would have expected. In fact, we were absolutely stunned by how much was included, especially given how low the price point is in comparison to more traditional wedding venues in the central Indiana region. He provided so much for us, both in terms of his own time and labor in doing the lion’s share of the setup himself, and in terms of decorations, table settings, etc which were included, and which we would have had to rent or purchase a la carte at many other venues. Honestly, he could charge twice as much, and it would still be a fair price! Bill is obviously so knowledgeable and passionate about the mansion and its history; his enthusiasm in sharing that with us was palpable and made the whole experience even more exciting. He was very generous with his time throughout the process: always responding promptly to our messages, offering suggestions to help us arrange and decorate the space to suit our needs, connecting us with other vendors (for the few services he did not provide himself), accommodating last-minute requests, and even taking initiative to set up additional meetings earlier in the process just to make sure we were on the same page. What we appreciated the most, though, was how incredibly flexible and accommodating he is! Frankly, we had a pretty strange vision for our wedding; we wanted a dinosaur theme. Bill was never judgmental in the slightest, but instead was completely on board with all of our shenanigans and even offered additional suggestions we hadn’t thought of! His open-mindedness and creativity truly made him a delight to work with. If you have a half-baked idea for an unusual event you’d like to host, Bill is your guy. He will make it come to life and make it better than you ever imagined! We truly cannot recommend him highly enough!

This was the most beautiful venue for a small intimate wedding I attended. Bill went above and beyond to make the mansion perfect for the bride and groom and made all the guests feel so welcome! Highly recommend!

The Charles Davis mansion was the perfect backdrop for my bridal shower. Bill made everything so easy. The check in/out processes, spaces, and necessities that Bill provided made our experience even better. We were able to focus on the day rather than stress about the venue.We love the environment the mansion made for our event. We will definitely use it again!

We hosted a Murder Mystery here and it was fantastic! The hosts were easy to work with and went out of their way to make sure the evening was a success. We could not of asked for a better location to use.
