It is literally the worst experience I've had ever, since dial up. Dial up worked. This only does half the time. I gave two stars just because it sometimes works. It'd be nice to talk to someone who is prominent in English. But that's what we get. At least if we're going to be a third world country now, give us free health care or something. But it's all cheap and fragile, the cost of life and everything. I use my DVD player and vhr way more than I should have to. 7 years of tedious hell, and this company is getting worse I do believe. Fiber optic, 5 G blah blah blah, it's like 4WD on a steep icy incline. It's nipples on a bull.

If you want service that goes out all the time get frontier. Have your internet out all day and they can't send a tech out for a week get frontier. Have service with them for over a year and want to be disappointed with service I was told was great get frontier. If you work from home or your kids does online learning don't worry about the internet being down because frontier doesn't care. Never been so disappointed in my life!

Had someone come out on a Friday to hook up new service for internet he was there for about a hr and said he had to leave and someone would be back on Saturday to finish the job. Saturday came waited and decided to call around 1 and they said someone was gonna be there between 1 and 5 still no show by 5 so I called again to them saying someone was gonna be there between 8am and 8pm Saturday. And can believe it no call/no show and now I had to reschedule a new hookup appointment and it's a week later then I was scheduled. I would give a 0 if I could, worst customer service experience. I can see why they filed bankruptcy

Service scheduled for no dial tone on land line. No show. No call. Called in 2nd time and new service ticket scheduled 4 days later. No show. Received call from technician between 3 and 4 pm stating they didn't have time for my repair and would need to be rescheduled. Still not repaired. Frontier phone service sucks.

Do not use this internet provider!!!!! Horrible service!!! We pay $168.00 a month for services that are supposed to be rendered!!! Any problem you have they will say is in your home and charge you extra when it's not!!!!! Plus you have to constantly reset your router. I ACTUALLY GIVE THEM 0 STARS!!! THEY SURE TAKE OUR MONEY EVERY MONTH BUT YOU DONT RENDER THE AGREED UPON SERVICES!! Funny how to regular people that would be considered theft.

Why cant i give negative stars, this is the worst service you could ever have. Not only fo they not offer truly high speeds even when you pay for their highest speed you dont get it.Not to mention when you call about it they like to cuss and tell you that youre wrong.Seriously dont use these guys. Even if they are the only one available in your area use a mobile hotspot before using these people. They should be forced out of business.Do not let then take advantage of you or loved one like they did with my mother either. They love saying they are the best service out there and taking advantage of older people. They are disgusting and don't deserve business.

I'm hoping this forum will let me give Frontier Communications a ZERO rating. We have been internet customers for years. It's been inconsistent service at its best. It's the only service in our area and it is DSL. We added a landline recently, to serve my mother who is under Hospice care, as using a cell phone is challenging for her. Prior to adding the landline we were paying for 12 mbps service. We decided to drop our landline service due to my mother's deterioration in health. At first they said that we would be dropped to 6 mbps service if we dropped the landline. I said this would not be acceptable. The service person said she'd have to talk with tech support to get it approved to keep the 12, even as we dropped the landline. I got the call today and the landline was dropped, 12 mbps service would be kept. Within 5 minutes of the call ending, we lost our internet service entirely. It must be noted that without internet, we have absolutely TERRIBLE cell phone service (thanks to ATT). I found a single bar and made a call to customer care. Basically I was told that a tech would HAVE to come out and it would be MONDAY, maybe sooner, but Monday for sure. Now, I let the CC person know my mother is actively dying. I didn't even have the time to be waiting on hold with them as my mother We NEED access to internet in order to make our necessary/emergency phone calls. Several back and forths and still the best that could be given was a Monday service call (today is Thursday). I reminded the CC person that the service dropped after another CC person stopped our landline for us. I know there may not be a literal "switch" but somewhere, somebody did some thing that caused our service to drop off. She said it doesn't work that way. As I was asking to speak to her higher ups, our service came back on, after 45 minutes of no service. We've had our back and forths with Frontier over these 5 years. Yes, we are rural but we are not the boonies. We are small town, America. I cannot believe that 15 miles from a large town and 35 miles from a major city we are experiencing this level of poor service. When I have another option I will DEFINITELY be taking it!

This is the worst internet company around, faithful never late customer for over a year and I need to disconnect the internet and they want to charge me a 9.00 disconnection fee? So for everyone to know, you are locked into a 9 disconnection fee when you close your account. I will NEVER be back to frontier, you greedy scammers.
