I visited here last night for a few items and a quick stop. The young man managing self checkout was excellent! He was working so quickly and efficiently to help everyone in the checkouts . Even going above and beyond to get a cart for a young lady who could not carry all her items. He helped me through check out process very quickly. He was professional and really deserves a raise!! Great work!! Excellent staff who really cares about the customer!

I’ve been shopping at this Jay C location off and on for 20 years. It’s a great place to stop in and get things you forgot somewhere else. For me it doesn’t have the selection needed to be my full time grocery location. The fact they’re owned by Kroger and carry Kroger products is very helpful. It can get extremely busy at times with long lines at the register too. I’m hoping they will one day buy up more of the strip mall they’re in to expand.

I have always considered Jay C chicken as some of the best but today the fried chicken was cooked in old grease and the grilled chicken was dry.

The store itself is ok but here recently JC has changed their fried chicken recipe and it's not near as good as it was. JC's in Sellersburg Indiana has always had the best fried chicken around but not anymore. The chicken is double dipped and they've changed the seasonings, it tastes bland, so I won't be going back. It's a shame these corporations do this, they won't leave well enough alone!
