Came in to or get parts for my redmax weedeater and turns out they don’t carry any so they ordered them for me and said to come back in 3 days. I came back a week later and they did not have parts nor any recollection of our conversation or order at that. Not cool.

Bought a new zero turn and traded my old one in. Easiest and seamless transaction I have ever had. This is the second mower I bought from them and it will be the only place I ever buy from.

Extremely frustrated with Jacobi sales. Earlier in the summer we brought our old club cadet mower to have fixed. Prior to fixing asked jay "how much estimate?" $600. So we hauled it in there and eventually it was "fixed" @$900. I say eventually because their service repairman decided that he was sick and would be back in a week. He left our mower undone and no one knew where all the screws went. We drove the 45 minutes into Seymour to pick it up. Brought it home at the PTO didn't work. Called Jay and he said that they would come get it and return it. Called a week later as I had not heard from him and he said "could we come pick it up it would be another $300". So we did. Fast forward to today and the belt is broken and the PTO isn't working.

Took 2 push mowers there for service. One was an old Toro that had been very intermittently the past several years. It started a bit rough. I also had a 2 year old Cub Cadet. Both mowers were to have basic services provided. Oil, air filter and so on. I took them there late in the winter. My thought process was that I would beat the rush before mowing season. When I dropped the mowers off, it was 15 minutes before closing time. They close at 5 and that was the soonest I could drop them off during the week. When I walked in, everyone seemed done for the day. Standing around talking, which I don't have a problem with. What I did have a problem with is that I had to approach a couple of employees chatting to get anyone to help me. A few weeks went by and I called to check on the mowers. Wait another week I was told. A week and a half later, I received a call stating they were ready. I picked up the mowers and the price was a two hundred plus dollars. No sharpening of the blades was done. Just an oil change, new spark plug and air filter. No sharpening of the blades which I thought was part of it. When I questioned the bill, I was giving a very vague answer. So I asked what their hourly service rate was and was told $100 an hour ! Wow, wasn't expecting that. Well, it at least they should run very well for the season I thought to myself. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The Toro would start, run for 10 seconds, then stop. The Cub Cadet electric starter still wasn't working. I forgot to mention this in the post. I asked them to look at it, because it stopped working after 2 years. I purchased it brand new. So I took the mowers back the next day. Explained my situation and was referred to a guy the called Push Rod. He told me that the Cub Cadets electric starter conks out after a couple of years. There was nothing he could do. I was shocked because a rarely used it. I just use the pull cord. Then he tried the Toro. Said it was probably a problem with the carburetor and it wasn't worth fixing. I told him that was to bad because it was my dad's mower and he since passed. He said " well if it is sentimental, you can always put it on a shelf." Lovely guy . I then asked Push Rod if they even started the Toro because of the issue I was having. He said " we must have. What's to say it wasn't running fine and developed the problem once you got it home." Again, lovely individual. I told him I live a mile and a half away. I highly doubted that something occurred in that short drive. I I tried starting it as soon as I unloaded it. So I called an old neighbor of mine who works on mowers. He cleaned the carburetor and adjusted the pacing for me as well. Charged me $25 dollars to do so. I am now using the Toro again.

They are way overpriced on everything. They are only open until noon on Saturday and close at 5:00 during the week making it tough to even shop there. My suggestion, go to Tractor Supply or buy online.

36.00 dollars to fix a riding mower flat. I ask how much it was going to cost when I brought the tire in. 2 people at the counter had no knowledge of the price or a close estimate. Shame on me for trusting in blind faith that it would be that much! This is shameful!
