“No breakfast but there is a Cracker. Barrel across a small street that’s easily walkable to. Clean and appears to be recently renovated. Very comfortable bed. Only 2 negatives: (1) Only 1 bar of soap which was sufficient for me, a single traveler for a single night. Otherwise it would have been an issue. (2) No hair dryer. Luckily I had packed one. Overall it was a very pleasant short stay. And a great value for the money. Would stay again.Rooms: Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and recently renovated, as was the entire facility. Room furnished with good a/c, black out curtains, refrigerator, and microwave. Negatives: (1) Only 1 bar of soap which was sufficient for me, a single traveler for s single night. (2) No hair dryer. Luckily I had packed one.Walkability: Cracker Barrel and Dairy Queen within a very short walking distance: Across a very small streetNoteworthy details: Only 1 bar of soap. But maybe because I had reserved the room ahead of time for a single traveler. No hair dryer: luckily I had packed one. Property appears to have been recently renovated and was clean. No breakfast but there is a Cracker Barrel across a small street that is easily walkable to. Great value for the money for a sleep-over while traveling.”

“My husband and I stayed here for our 5 year wedding anniversary and the experience was amazing! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with the amazing smell of smoky wood that really sets the mood for the entire stay. The warm aesthetic follows you through the hotel. All of the staff we interacted with were incredibly welcoming and seemed genuinely joyful to see us. The location on whiskey row was central to so many great bars and places to eat. There is even a speakeasy around the block! As natives to Louisville that relocated for college and careers, coming back and staying at Hotel Distil was truly the best place we could have stayed for our anniversary!Rooms: Spacious and welcoming!”

“Awesome experience! We were at a sister hotel that wasn’t our vibe, so walked over to the Moxy to check out their availability. We were greeted by Kaylee who made the transfer seamless for us! Cant say one negative thing about the hotel or staff, everyone was great! Cassie helped us checkout and went above and beyond. Oh and the Tacos and drinks are top notch!”

“My fiance and I were in town for a concert and we had the pleasure of staying at the Grady hotel. There was so much parking near by and was walking distance to a lot of nice spots. The hotel was beautiful inside and had some of the best staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Everyone was kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel and it's history. Rooms were so nice, big TV,comfy bed and amazing bathroom. The restaurant downstairs has delicious breakfast and had the kindest waiter. I would absolutely come back anytime I'm in Louisville. 10/10”

“Awesome location in Downtown town area. Easy walk to distilleries and great restaurants. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas clean and nicely accommodated. Breakfast is just okay. If you have to grab something quick it is fine, but would recommend trying one of the other breakfast places in downtown. Our room was missing closet door, the toilet handle wasn't working and we were locked out of our room for about 45min while a nice lady from the front desk tried to reset it.”

“Quiet, comfy, clean, food was good but more importantly the people were friendly and extremely welcoming and kind. It was a great experience in a quiet area outside of the bustle. They were decorated for the holidays, and made our stay easy, thank you! Pet friendly!”

“We stayed one night at this location as we were traveling home from the holidays. I booked the room in advance and the check in/check out process was a breeze. The staff were excellent and very friendly! However, the room seemed to be dated. The tub in the bathroom had a drip, the window was left cracked open, and the lights in the kitchenette flickered. Additionally, the HVAC was set to where you could not have a constant fan running. I have never seen this in a hotel before. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean so it was a great stay for one night.Note: the hotel is currently undergoing a renovation, so it is possible that our room was not updated.”

“At first glance the room looked very nice and clean. But after taking a closer look at things it did not seem that great. I found a weird sludge in the back of the fridge. I also found stains on the bedsheets and a blood stain and on a pillow. There was also hair and some dust on the couch. But on the good side, I thought that the bathroom was very nice and that the pool area is a lot better than I have seen in the past and what I expected.Noteworthy details: They have tables that can charge your phone with no cord which is cool and useful.”

“I will start off by saying that this hotel is owned and operated by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, which makes sense as it is on the campus. The hotel does not have the same amenities as a Hilton or a Marriott, but the rooms are clean.”

“The staff was helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the walk on the bridge/park was refreshing. But the most wonderful and surprising part of my stay in this hotel was; the windows were not locked up! I was able to crack the window to get fresh air. This doesn't exist in many hotel rooms. Thank you for giving us the freedom & choice to open the windows!”

“The hotel was very nice and clean. Full sized refrigerator with a small kitchen. The bed was so comfortable. The only issue I had was checking in. I was by myself as a young female and the front desk man was less than professional. He was texting on his personal phone ti make sure my room was ready and making me wait until it was confirmed ready. I didn’t understand this whatsoever and I really felt like he was luring me to my room. I was too nervous to head up to my room alone so I left and waited for my husband and myself to return together at a later time. After all, our stay was great. The guy was just weird.”

“We hosted a two-day photography workshop event here, and I couldn’t have been happier with the our stay and the accommodations that the owners made for us! They were willing to let us rearrange the space to fit our needs, and all of our out-of-town attendees loved the charm of the home. The area is fun and has a lot of great local shops and places to eat too! Thank you again Glenda for being so wonderful to work with!”

“Never met a more selfish brand of hotels. Thanks for not giving a refund upon cancellation even though I inquired about cancelling it literally a month in advance and a day after reservation. I will never stay at one of these hotels for as long as I live. Greedy bunch of people.”

“This place is downright amazing. Had the option of getting an apartment for a few nights and wow. No clue they were bigger than most houses! Fully furnished! The private elevators are a huge bonus.”

“We had some issues with the room and ended up haven't to switch rooms twice in one night. The GM was apologetic the next morning and comped our accommodations . The continental breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles..pretty standard. The visit to Louisville was very enjoyable, we loved it.”

“good solid ran motel. definitely not for you Richie Rich witch those snobby and Rich they think they're better than anybody else in which they should be forced to sleep in there car on occasion just for the humbling experience, plenty of parking space staff is nice privacy is nice Saturday is Good Old country setting all-in-all I give you a+Walkability: it's not on this property but as you leaving and coming and going from this property and to this property there are no sidewalks so you have to walk in the yards of other people or in the road the city as their responsibilities should make sure there are sidewalks that lead and provide the assistance leaving this place so it's not a strike against the hotel that's the only problem I seen”

“I was here for a long term 7 night stretch. The staff was great and friendly, especially Rolanda. Had an issue with hot water that was corrected quickly. I wouldn't recommend for an extended stay as the room did not have a fridge or microwave. There was a microwave in the lobby but not sure everyone wants to smell my spicy ramen lol. For a short term stay this is great, but for long term I'll go across the street to the Residence Inn.Rooms: No fridge or microwave. A little outdated.Walkability: There are a lot of restaurants nearby, as well as a couple bars. Also the waterfalls of the Ohio are within a quarter of a mile.”

“Pros: Affordable and great location, near dining, shopping, and within in minutes of downtown LouisvilleCons: $150 deposit is a full charge to card and may take a few business days to return to account, minor damage to bathroom door from canine guest, main room lights on motion sensor timer, and breakfast was unappetizing. These are all only minor things that didn't ruin the stay by any means.”

“This was a horrible stay! We checked in late the guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Got to the room smelled like cigarettes smoke and stains on the floor. The bed was very comfortable but there where no USB ports to charge any of our devices. When we woke up to get breakfast and walked in the hall there was a horrible smell my husband and I both gaged. If you are looking for a great hotel breakfast this would be the wrong place. They only had waffles ,cereal, toast, and yogurt.I will never stay here again waste of money!”

“I've got updates. Since I was here last. New floors, paint, Tvs, and beds. The staff are still amazing and helpful. Right off of Hwy65. The convenience of Clarksville and this hotel you cannot beat. If you need a place to call home for a bit. Don't miss the Red Carpet.Rooms: The rooms are so convenient. For you and the misses, or you the miss and the kids.Nearby activities: The riverfront has activities for days. Plenty restaurants and derby festivitiesSafety: I've never seen a hotel that cared more about you and your children.”
