i had my MFD fail last month and researched options for repair. it was a little bit beyond my confidence to fix myself, because replacement units are so costly.
anyways they got back to me quickly and i sent them the unit. it took only two weeks from the day i sent it out to receive it back, and at least half of that was travel thru the post office. very pleased to have my MFD working again and i can’t recommend this enough to anyone else with a gen 2 prius (or older toyota model). my repair was done in june 2024 for $325.

Couple.of bits of information to keep in mind.
1. There are actually now two companies at this location Autobeyours and Frontier automotive
. Autobeyours is the company that has done work on my prius in the past and Frontier is the new company that did work on it this time around. I did not know this at first and was a bit worried as the site only shows autobuyers. However the tech seemed very knowledgeable and I felt confident that he knew exactly how to perform the work.
2 I had to replace the cat on my 08 prius. They installed a aftermarket cat that has not thrown the engine light on which is great! They gave me a quote over the phone However I did not know there was a little over a 3% fee for paying electronically. Did not know this before driving the three hours so if you are coming from out of town keep this in mind as this can very much change the cost you pay.
Overall I am happy with the work done on my prius and will be back if I need any other major repairs.

I sent my 2004 Land Cruiser MFD to Autobeyours for repair about 6 months ago. It had become unresponsive, and I wasn’t optimistic that it was repairable. Autobeyours sent it back to me within a week, I installed it, and it worked! Haven’t had any issues since. The MFD controls various functionality from audio to air conditioning, so this was a lifesaver for me. Highly recommend!

Our Prius V5 was making a weird noise and my husband took it to Toyota! Blown head gasket!!! They wanted $6500 for a motor with 150 thousand miles and not guaranteed.Autobeyours had a motor with less miles, transmission and steering column all for the same amount! Guaranteed! They do amazing work!

Auto be Yours- Although this place was recommended to me by a family member and was perhaps once upon a time a place of ethical and moral integrity I found quite the opposite. I was sold a Prius that had 71,000 miles and told I had to wait for them to restore it. I rented a car and waited for about month. I dropped the car off at the airport in Louisville and took possession of the car that they assured me had 71,000 miles. As I was almost to Louisville I looked down and noticed the speedometer said 171.000 miles! I called them and they agreed to take it back and find me another. Chris the owner found me a car with 100,000 miles and wanted to charge me more! But we agreed on the same price and I had to wait for them to fix it. I waited for weeks and I had a book signing tour in Virginia Beach and had to drive the "car". The morning I was to drive to Virginia Beach the car would not start. I called AAA but they could not start it. So I rented a car and went on my book tour. When I return I called AAA and had the car towed to AUTO BE YOURS. Chris refused to give me all the money back for my cash purchase. He short changed me over $1000.00 dollars blaming me for the battery dying and AAA for damaging the car!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS OUTFIT THEY HAVE LOST THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN HAVE IN ANY BUSINESS A GOOD REPUTATION.

I bought my car there almost a year ago. They stand by what they sell. No doubt when I need another Prius that's the first place I'll go.

Autobeyours recently fixed my 2007 Prius MFD. It took only a week and they shipped it back the unit with USPS 2-days service. It works perfect! The repair procedure is very simple; send the unit, pay with Paypal or credit card when they invoice you, then you will get the unit back.If you have any issue, especially for Prius, do not think twice, they know what they are doing and trustworthy. Repair cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Website advertised 395 for a used brake actuator. After an email inquiry, they raised the price to 790. A new one is 1100. Nothing like the old bait and switch.
