Hours listed are incorrect — they close at whatever time they feel like, which is currently 6 pm and no signs are posted on the store front. They also have limited employees during the construction so the wait times are ungodly.

The most useless Verizon store I've been in thats a corporate location. The one up the street has more stuff but is also employed with crooks.

Grant is Great. Helped me out. Helpful, smart, professional, friendly. Went the extra mile for me. Thank you again, Grant. Other customers in the store seemed really happy with the service they were getting from other Verizon techs.

needed help connecting my apple watch to my new phone. Came in at 4:55 not realizing they closed at 5...but hey i work too so i got there as quickly as i could once i got off work. Guy told me they close in 5 minutes so he couldn't help me. But he did offer to give me an appointment for the next day...would have probably gotten there the same time the next day due to my work schedule. And told me it would cost me $30 for their help. The kicker was I just purchased a new phone from them the day before... I also work in CS, if I told a customer to come back the next day I'd probably be fired.

The Verizon in schererville racially profiled me. I came in person with all my info and was instantly put on fraud hold. I was then told to wait for a call but I called the emergency line instead and I was then told I am no longer to use verizon as I stood outside the store respectfully on the phone trying to clear up the issue. I do not recommend!!!

I arrived to a customer free zone. I was literally the only customer in the entire store. There were at least 6 employees on the floor. I was greeted immediately and turned over to a guy whose name I don't remember, possibly because I just want to forget the experience. He never smiled. There was absolutely nothing inviting about his customer service delivery. Background: I typically go to an authorized dealer in Calumet City where I'm always provided with a solution and upsold on some kind of new equipment and service. I wanted to experience the corporate store which is why I came here. Back to him: I asked him to review my account with me and let me know if something had recently changed and if there was room for me to reduce my bill. This was his opportunity to deliver expertise and deepen an existing relationship for the business. He didn't really go over my account with me. He read what I could've read on my own in the app to me. He did propose two solutions: payoff the phones or apply for their credit card for auto bill pay. Verizon, that's ridiculous! If you accept credit card payments for auto bill pay you should simply accept them. The experience coupled with the reality of the auto bill payment restrictions are why I'm going to a new servicer. I've been with you for over a decade and it took one experience with an employee that you trained to end our relationship. I should also mention that the rest of the Verizon team members were somewhat huddled around where I stood (near the entrance door/front desk - because remember I was never really invited in), socializing about their personal plans and experiences. Someone should've intervened and got me deeper into the relationship with Verizon. The young lady at the authorized dealer in Calumet City always gets me to spend more money. How do you have 5+ team members and 1 seasoned customer and not only do they not make a sale or deepen the relationship, but instead, they lose the customer?

I was very happy with the service I got from this Verizon store. Chris was a manger there and walked me through everything I needed to do to make sure my promotion and plan was 100% correct. The next day I went in to confirm everything and worked with Amber who was also very helpful. She made sure my add-ons were set up correctly and was very patient. The only downfall was that this is not a corporate store, so I did have a bit of a delay correcting my promotional offer, but by the next day, it was fixed. If you have to pick a Schererville location, this is the one!

My dad and I walked into the store to get him a new Iphone 12 pro Max and trade in his Iphone 6. Neither one of us are computer/phone savvy. The young women who helped us most of been having a bad day. She was very mean and condescending to my father and wouldn't help us with how to transfer the info from one phone to the other. She said I am not a tech person I am a salesperson. She actually walked away from us after we paid the bill because she refused to give us any guidance. Then I person who I think was the manager tried to smooth things over because of her terrible attitude but it was to little to late. Oh keep in mind it wasn't crowded at all. It wasn't like she had to wait on someone else. We have calls into Verizon corporate about this situation but I just want the neighborhood to know what they are dealing with. Our company has been with Verizon forever but we are planning on cancelling our service on all of our phones and moving elsewhere. I would like to know if it is store policy not to help a person with guidance after they spend $1,400.00 on a phone and accessories.

I will never return to this store. Very un-helpful. I'm sick and tired of people using "Covid" as a reason to not work. We are even going to cancel our Verizon Service and go with Patriot Mobile! Ridiculous how Customer Service refers me to the Store and then then the store can do nothing to help and refers me back to Customer Service!

An amazing store with amazing associates! Changed carrier from Sprint. BEST decision ever made. Besides the actual phone service being better, the staff is always amazing and willing to help! Management is also amazing!

I've recently moved my services to Verizon from another carrier, and each store visit has been pleasant to say the least. This store is actually open on a Sunday (only one of a few in the Chicago area), and with a short wait of less than five minutes, I was able to speak with professional about my cell needs...

I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years and have received excellent customer service time and time again. Until now. Last week, my husband called the Schererville, IN store and asked about their promotions. T-Mobile was his carrier, but he was open to changing to Verizon. The sales associate told him the promo was buy one iPhone X and receive one free. He didn't believe her as he told her T-Mobile was offering the same deal for the iPhone 8. She repeated this a few more times so he went in. He then called me from the Verizon store and asked me to add him to my plan to obtain the promotion. I also initially didn't believe her, but after hearing her say this on the phone three times, she convinced me too. He was added to my plan and he purchased the iPhone X, thinking the other was free as she stated. A few days later, I went into our local Verizon branch to have them put the screen protector on. I told them about this amazing deal, the BOGO on iPhone X. They told me she was mistaken, it was only the iPhone 8 that was buy one get one. Although, the manager said if that is what she sold us, she had to honor it. My husband then called the manager, Liz, from the IN store where he purchased the phones from and explained what happened. She verified the associate did in fact sell him the iPhone X with this promotion. However, she was unwilling to do anything other than waive the $30 activation fee. I then reached out to Verizon customer service and the rep talked to her supervisor. They also agreed, though the sales associate made an error, the store had to honor what she told me my husband. The customer service rep called the manager from the IN store with me on the other line. The manager from the store lied and told the rep she called my husband and told him to return the phones for the iPhone 8 deal. This of course never happened, she didn't know about the sale until he called her, and the 8 was not mentioned. She was unwilling to do a thing to help. The rep asked for the manager's name above her and for channel support which appears to be a division to help resolve these matters. I was supposed to hear back yesterday, but they never called back. At this point, we've decided to return everything and drop Verizon as our carrier. In a competitive world of cell phone carriers, excellent customer service should be the distinction that sets Verizon apart from the others. It is disappointing that was not the case. I would hope that our next carrier would know their own promotions and have the integrity to honor what they sell to their customers.

Staff members haughty and condescending especially to older CUSTOMERS . They need to be reminded that the people across the counter from them pays their salary. I would give this place zero stars.

Stopped in here to do some comparison shopping. I was currently with at&t and looking for options on the Unlimited plans. It was clear after going to the att store that Verizon is where it is at. ATT didn't offer employment discounts nor did they offer Military discounts. The new plan would have been more than my existing plan. I didn't feel like buying direct TV to save $25. Off to Verizon. We got 3 phones with Unlimited plans and saved $100 over ATT. The also recognized the Military discounts as well at employers discounts. Chris was our associate and was pleasing to work with.
