Ferree Movers moved my mother from her home to assisted living. It was not a particularly difficult task, but it was done by the guys with care, patience, understanding, flexibility and more. We had 3 stops (storage and the new assisted living apartment), plus they loaded the larger items which were going in separate cars and trucks. Work was done efficiently, carefully and nothing was lost or damaged. We got the distinct feeling that our treatment was not special, but standard operating procedure. As a veteran of "moving", it was simply outstanding and we would recommend Ferree to you!

Excellent service at a reasonable price! 3 guyed came with the truck at the time scheduled and worked non stop all day to get us into our new home. I couldn’t be happier

It was excellent - start to finish. The quote was fair, the move out went really well, the movers were professional and respectful, when we ran into an issue with our POD, Ferree stepped up to help - again, at a very fair price. Move in was equally as good - and our quote held true. Highly recommended!

It was a terrific experience, something most people likely wouldn't say concerning a major move. However, we were very happy with the quote, the guarantee, the customer service, the packing, the loading and the unloading. Literally, everyone involved was a professional and a delight. There wasn't one instance when we felt that we weren't treated exceptionally well.

We just moved last weekend and didn't have the best experience. The crew was supposed to arrive between 8:30-9 and showed up about 10:15. I called and the office said "they went to do a favor for an elderly couple first" - which is great, just would have appreciated a call before I had to call them. When the crew arrived, they immediately looked around and asked if the office had come out to look at our move (they hadn't) because they could tell they didn't have a big enough truck or crew. Great!! They decided it would take 2 trips, so they packed up a half truck and went to our new house (Munster to Schererville- not terrible but we were still paying by the hour). Got back to old house to load up a second time and they said they still didn't have enough room for everything. (Leaving us wishing they would've packed more on trip 1!). So they took what they could and left us with 3 SUV/car loads to take on our own. When we got to the new house with trip 2, we were informed that our couch wouldn't fit down the stairs to the basement. I can understand that if it's true but they didn't even try. And then we were told the same about our elliptical - "someone will have to undo the bolts to move it" but that they (again) wouldn't try. Honestly after 8 hours total on a Friday I think the crew was just over the job. We bought them breakfast and lunch to try to motivate them but it wasn't enough. In fairness the guys (John, Tristan, and Erick) were nice guys - especially Erick, he busted his butt! But the company set them up to fail on this job. $1100 later and the only reason I give 2 stars and not 1 is because of the half-attempts from the crew. I would not recommend the company to others.
