Consumer beware! The customer service was horrible, and the service was even worse. This establishment @Napleton's Autowerks of Indiana in Schererville epitomizes the notion or term, "stealership." I took my car there for a pre-diagnosed issue of Electronic Ignition System (EIS) failure. Service rep said, dealership must conduct their own to assess for assurance. My car was there for nearly six weeks. I requested a loaner car, but it never happened. My car was returned with unresolved issues. Upon completion of the diagnostic test, their techs reported that the Tire Pressure Monitor System (TMPS) was causing the intermittent starting issues. I questioned the diagnostic report. As suspected, the repair did not resolve the issue. Then, I was told it was a central gateway (CAN) issue. Again, I questioned the diagnosis and also told the service representative that I would only agree to the repair if it resolved the issue and wasn't willing to pay for guesswork. The service representative assured me that it would correct the problem. I reminded him that my car had already been diagnosed with an EIS issue by a certified European auto technician and asked why they didn't they start there. Eventually, they arrived at the correct diagnosis. Of course, it was indeed the EIS malfunctioning. To add insult to injury, the dealership even charged me for the replacement of unnecessary parts and labor. Would you believe the TPMS malfunction indicator light appeared before I made it home. The general manager would neither accept my calls nor respond to emails. The service manager was condescending, and Karen in the service department was very disrespectful. Certainly, you have better options. I made several attempts to resolve this issue amicable, so hopefully, you, the consumer, can make better informed decisions about who you can trust and where to spend your money.

I had the most horrific experience with this dealership. From the purchase of my car all the way to the service. When I first bought it the fuel tank had to be replaced right away on a brand new Mercedes. It read I had a certain amount of gas that I didn’t . I ran out of gas in it. Something I never had happen in my life. The service department promised my car would be ready and while in route to pick it up I was told last minute that it wasn’t ready. This occurred on a Friday. I had to come in person on Saturday just to see what was going on with my vehicle due to the lack of response and extremely poor communication from the service dept. They are very nonchalant when it comes to assisting you and meeting your needs.They could care less if you’re satisfied or not as a customer . They have thee worst customer service at a dealership that I have ever experienced. The way they represent Mercedes as a brand doesn’t allow me to speak highly of them. I have had several cars in my past foreign to non … bmw jeep Chevy dodge and I never experienced treatment like this. Idk if it’s because I’m a woman or because I’m black. Or both. But they never offered to drop me off or pick me up when having my car serviced but this is something they supposedly offer. Not to me. They never offer or ask if I want water even though they have it. They also never offered me a loaner car . I had to ask …initially I was told my car wont be ready as promised and we have no loaners sorry. That’s it that’s all. They have one black lady working she’s in the service area but she’s not in sales. I’m not sure why because she is only like the middle man mediator for the bs they dish out. She can’t help you. They seem to have no sense of urgency when communicating or servicing your car . They don’t care if they lose a customer it seems and at this rate I’m done. You lost me. And most importantly, I will NEVER EVER shop at this dealership again! From Joe to Roger to the sales guy who was from Volvo not even Mercedes that I had that didn’t tell me anything about my car ,just go home read your manual … I’m done! This cost me more fees something that could have been avoided if the sales person had done their job. They quote outrageous quotes for service then change the prices that’s fishy . They promise the vehicle will be ready and leave you hanging if you have another car at home you can use they don’t care . They barely greet you coming in . It’s like it pains them ti say hello . I sat in service 20 mins before they even asked if I needed help or if I had an appt. I was just sitting in my car in the service bay . They will not accommodate you at all in anyway. They just want the sale and your trade in if you have one. I hate I ever went there! I should have went across the way to BMW. I promise to god. Next time I know.

I really enjoyed my car buying experience at Napleton. Addison was my salesman and he was GREAT! He put me in a amazing Range Rover! He was attentive to my wants and even stayed within my budget! Go see Addy!

I dropped my car to get serviced for a specific malfunction and then I told them to check everything else and let me know if anything else needs to be serviced. They told me that they don’t do that and every service is its own charge. So if you take your car there to replace a battery and they see an oil leak they won’t tell you about it unless you tell them to check Oil, which will be an additional $250 charge. It’s crazy that they dont do a complimentary diagnostic especially when you’re already servicing and paying $1500 for a repair.

Recently had my vehicle serviced here and had an outstanding experience. Tony (GM) along with Joe and Bill in the service department didn’t miss a beat! These guys are top notch in customer service and I’m happy to have them as my local dealer.

I recently purchased a used car from them and was a seamless experience. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Natalie Lombardo, and Robert. They made sure things very clear and went above and beyond what they had to do to make sure I was satisfied. When I drove and examine at the car I did not feel pressured or pushed into purchasing the car. Robert was very professional and worked out what I wanted from the deal and Natalie was really kind and kept in constant communication with me. They even topped off the gas before I drove off the lot. I highly recommend them and would definitely shop there again. The sales team work together and are an Absolute powerhouse. The finance department was alright, didn’t deal with them much since i came there money already in order.

I've had a horrible experience here almost every time I have to go there. First time it took them 2 hours to get my car back after washing because they forgot. Second time they charged me for what the warranty covered and didn't replace the actual part only cleared the light resulting in me having to come back. Again never told me when car was done I was sitting waiting on a 4 hour job when car was finishe.

We recently had a wonderful buying experience with the salesman, Addison. He was very attentive and responsive. We drove 2.5 hours to purchase a used car, and were more than pleased with the buying process. The finance manager was just as pleasant to work with. You never know what you’re getting with a used car, and we will hope it turns out to be as good of a car as the buying experience was.

They are the worst Benz dealer I ever dealt with especially the financing manager who is very rude and disgusting … I am a current Mercedes-Benz owner of many years , and I have never experienced so much rudeness in my life. For starters, they kept getting my name wrong as if I wasn’t even an important customer to them then try to rush the sale over the phone once I told them I stay out of town and I wanted time the salesman told me they couldn’t hold the car. I let them know. It’s OK go ahead, I don’t want it if I can’t have time to think about it plus I never saw the car in person or never test drove it. The person who does the financial paperwork is the rudest person I have ever met in my life for starters. I was looking to trade in my car called them, because I stay out of state and the disrespect that this store/company gave me particularly the finance person me the other worst company ever then try to put down other benz companies/stores, as if there’s were better than the I’m in just to get me to buy over the phone and I would say his name but God will take care of him. This is the SECOND time that I have received unprofessional, and frankly, unacceptable customer service from the service department at this place. This time around, I brought my car in on April 30, 2024 - almost three weeks ago. The repairs are substantial and the parts need to be ordered in from Germany, so I understand the delay. However, after returning my second loaner on Tuesday last week, Joe (the service person) promised me that the car would be ready for me on Monday - since I arrived out of town on Saturday. Well, I texted him first thing Monday morning - no response. I texted him at around noon - no response. And I texted him at around 2 pm - no response. I even emailed the dealership - and no response. Because I was out of town last week, we have no groceries in the house. Moreover, all I want is an update. If the car is still being fixed, then provide me with another loaner so that I can get around and continue on with my life. As such, being without a vehicle in Northwest Indiana is a major inconvenience. The next time my vehicle needs servicing, I will probably end up dealing with a dealership in Illinois because this type of service is absolutely horrible! All you need to do is communicate with your customer (me) to give them an update and peace of mind, and you can't even do that. Absolutely unacceptable!
