Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from the cabinet department at Lowe's. One of their designers accidentally ordered upper wall cabinets 3" deeper than the base cabinets below them. Mistakes happen, but they are insisting this is what we wanted and refusing to accept any accountability. Their store manager, Jason, and department supervisor, Antwuan, are incredibly rude. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. PS Home Depot has the same products under different names. Diamond = Thomasville.

I had a great shopping experience at Lowe's I love the Christmas decorations. They have a nice variety the only issue I've had with them was that they were not clear last year about their return policy for holiday items. The reason I was unable to return my item then was because the person in customer service at the time seemed new and therefore; I left only not to be able to return the items. The staff at the store are knowledgeable and professional.

Flooring department is amazing. So helpful with our new hardwood floor. So much variety and Christopher gave us so much advice. On a side note, they have a HUGE selection of lampshades. Easily 4x the selection I saw at Target. Very happy!

Fantastic customer service at the Schererville Lowe's. Needed advice and information for a flooring project and a gentleman named Mark walked me through everything, start to finish. This store is now my go-to. Thank You!

We went into Lowe's looking for a ladder. We are senior citizens and wanted a ladder that had a rail at the top. The one we wanted was up higher than we could reach. We went in search of an associate to help get it down for us. The woman we asked said she would get someone over right away. We waited 45 and the woman stopped by a couple of times and said that someone would be right over to help. No one came, and Lowe's not only lost the sale, but they lost us as customers. Very poor customer service.

Today my husband rented a carpet cleaner from the Schererville Indiana Lowes location. We paid a 30 dollar deposit and was told if we will return it in the same condition we would receive it back. My husband had pointed out that it looked a little dirty and the woman told him as long as it's back in the same or better condition. We cleaned it at home BEFORE use and AFTER use. My husband went to return the carpet cleaner after and they refused to refund us the deposit. She said it was "too dirty" my husband stated that it's in better condition than the way we received it! She argued with him that he was wrong. Ultimately my husband had enough of being rudely spoken to and left. I called the store and asked for the deposit back as we obeyed the contract and returned it in better condition. Beth from the schererville store told me "she doesn't have time for this" and put me on hold for 7 minutes when she came back she said she pulled out her cleaning supplies she used to clean it from the garbage. I told her I hand cleaned it and my home is a new build so there was absolutely 0 way it was dirty. The only reason we rented it was because I am pregnant and we wanted the nursery to be even fresher. I am 7 months pregnant and HAND cleaned it before return in the bath tub. She was so rude to me and made me cry. I asked to speak to a manager and she said he'd call me back because they were in a meeting. About 4-5 hours later I get a call from a manager named Michael, he asked me what happened and then had the audacity to say my husband and I were lying. I told him to pull the cameras and look how we recieved it this morning and after we returned it and compare, he stated he did- I asked for the footage because I am telling the truth. He told me I can't see the footage. He told me there was nothing he'd do for me and I'm never getting our money back. I am disgusted with lowes and how you treat your customers.

Never again, I had a terrible experience, I try ordering patio doors for my home, the first delivery they had the doors width wrong, made for 2x6" walls, they re order the door. This time the rough opening was wrong. When ordering doors the rough opening is crucial so is the hight. Well, according to the manager. I order the doors for a 5' and 6' opening witch by the way is standard opening. The doors came 5'-3" wide and 6-3" wide(two different doors that I order) the door don't fit the opening, I can't use them so to return them they charge me 20% re stacking fee or $752 dollars . One of the doors was damage and never made it to my house and the store manager didn't care . Once you sign the doors are yours! Note to self, always check the paper work and make sure the other person typing the order does it right. I figure I own my part of the responsibility to check, so I ask the millwork manager if there was another door I could order, I figure I try to make a deal with them, he said nothing they have would work for my rough opening, so I went to Home Depot, in 5 minutes the salesman had the door ready to be order exactly as I need it, their price was $2200 per door, so I went back to Lowes, ask if they had the same brand of doors and the millworker manager said yes, I practically walk him trough the process to figure out the door I wanted, to my surprise when he finish, their price was $3100 dollars for the exact same door. I ask if they would match the price and the store manager said no plus I still had to pay the 20% re stacking charge. So I did. But took my business to Home Depot, order my new doors. They to contact corporate office and they also didn't care to hear it. I figure out that the problem was in the computer system of how the brand I was buying adds to the door size you want not the rough opening witch is the main reason to order custom doors. Like I said. Never again will I ever give them another dime.

If you're looking for tools or general hardware and you need any semblance of assistance, go elsewhere. This is the epitome of self service. If you can't find it or don't know what you need exactly, you'd get more help from asking a magic 8 ball. The only positive experiences that we've had here and what brings the score up to 3/5 stars is from buying appliances. While the appliance sales person did not process what we said we wanted and tried to sell us on units that did not match our criteria, once we found what did match (ourselves), they were very quick to get through the process of ordering.

Erin from the Home Decor team is the best! As a first time home buyer in need of window coverings I did not know where to start. Erin helped answer all my questions and was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process! Would highly recommend her for any of your home decor needs.

I love my new Whirlpool oven model #: WFG320M0BS and this Lowe's comes highly recommended. My new oven is powerful, simple to use, heavy duty, sleek and was well priced. Lowe's definitely knocked it out of the park with their Memorial Day sale which included free drop off delivery and great drivers. I'll think of Lowes again next time and if your looking for good service, products and pricing yoU should too.

If I could give this location zero stars I would. Shopping for a dishwasher I was ignored waiting for assistance. Once I did get some assistance the staff member was rude and condescending. As I went to pick up my order I waited on hold for 8 mins and was hung up on. Would not shop here again.

YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH FREE DELIVERY! I ordered a few thousand dollars of appliances with their offering of free delivery for a project house I was working on. Delivery 1. They showed up an hour after their 4 hour window, dropped off the wrong fridge and did not deliver the microwave at all. They then called me 5 times while I was in church Sunday morning trying to get me to go to the project site on my day off when I don't answer my phone. They went ahead and scheduled delivery for Monday without hearing back from me to THE COMPLETELY WRONG ADDRESS! Delivery 2. I told them I would be at the site on Thursday and they could swap out the correct fridge for incorrect and reminded them about the microwave. They showed up with NIETHER just to pick up the incorrect fridge. They did not trust me enough to send out my fridge until the other one was physically back in their warehouse or something...as if I was trying to steal the fridge or something. Baffling. Delivery 3. They showed up a hair early actually, which can be a hassle itself but they brought the fridge. Hooray! ... and it showed up open box. Why? Ill find out tomorrow if anything is missing. Picked the microwave up myself. I wish I could say this is my only sour experience with Lowes delivery but its not. This is just the worst one so far and the straw that broke the camel's back. Will be unlikely to use the store at all anymore let alone delivery due to this experience. I usually spend tens of thousands a year at home stores for my project houses and I'll gladly spend it somewhere that treats me with respect.

I actually didn't even purchase anything from the store but i had to review how awesome the customer service was. Every associate that walked by was so friendly and asked if I needed help. Lots of hardware stores can be a cluster and you can be wandering around for a while before finding someone to ask where the extension cords are.

There super rude over the phone. I simply just want to speak to someone in the flooring department to see if my order from another store was in. The ladies at the customer service desk keep picking it up. Till I told one of them nicely "I'm sorry I keep getting put on hold but no one seems to be picking up" she responds with WELL ITS A SATURDAY WE GET BUSY" like lady I know what day it is I'm not 5 I worked retail Ik it gets busy but being on hold for 25 minutes busy? Cmon!! place also sucks on the inside gets one star from me
