In order to post you must select a star(s) and the 1 is for being open, not STAFF in fabrics. I selected an item that was under the 40% off sign, but came up 30%. Showed Dirty Diana the sign and she and another Black employee “tried” to lecture the handbook for staff, to me:) Stating: “The designer name is for 40% off, so if it doesn’t list designer- it’s not 40%, we aren’t responsible if customers put in wrong place, etc”.
JoAnn Fabrics, replace these ones. We/clients are NOT making sure that size 4 font is specific to sign vs selecting what we see! There were loads of them- so, if it’s an error- absorb the difference! Also, they offered no remedy and “very matter of fact”, like they don’t need business.?

They never have any of the yarn I'm looking for when I go into the store! Online says they have it but when I go into the store it's not there which means they never update their inventory. Most of the staff acts like they are on drugs and are not helpful! One Saturday I went early in the morning to pick up some yarn for my business they were closed even though it was well after opening time. The employees showed up 30 minutes later looking like they had a rough night and opened the store. This has got to be the worst Joann I have ever been to! Do better!

This used to be one of my favorite stores. I love doing projects, and they always had the best selection of decor especially for holidays and the different seasons. They have definitely gone down hill recently. The stock is always low, it is dirty, and you can hardly ever find someone to help. I ordered a pick up order around Christmas and the girl I talked to said it may be weeks before they were actually able to fill my order and she couldn't guarantee anything I ordered would actually be in stock by the time I filled mine. I'm really sad because I fell like this place will not be around much longer and we'll be forced to shop for these things at Amazon. There's just nowhere good instore anymore for things like this.

This store is dying a slow death! There was only one cashier who seemed forced to handle several jobs. It took fourty minutes for a three minute online order pick-up. REST IN PEACE Joann Fabric. ?

Mia the cashier was amazing! The man working in the fabric was horrible. I went to take some fabric back because of something came up and I was no longer able to afford it, and as I put the material on the counter he rudely asks, 'now why would you buy all this fabric to bring it back' and then it wasn't the amount that it said on the receipt although I didn't cut it, my mom came over and nicely asked him to remeasure, he rudely and quite loudly said to her 'he wasn't stupid.'

Very disappointed in the schererville store. Very disheveled, long wait time at the checkout, and dirty floors. Used to be my favorite place to shop-not so much any more

I placed a curbside pick up order on December 9th and the order wasn't ready until December 13th after saying it would be ready in 24 hours. When I called the store on 12/10/23 the person who answered the phone could not give me any information when my order would even be ready!!! When I finally came to pick it up they NEVET came out to bring my order! I had to go in to get it which is fine, but don't promote services you have NO intention on eve doing these services! 1/2 is my order had to be cancelled since they waited too many days to fill it and those items were no longer available in store! I will be taking my business to Michael's from here on out.

If I could give the online store a 0 I would. 2 years in a row I order Christmas garland online around the day after Thanksgiving. This year it was Nov 28th. I had purchased some garland at the Merrillville and for 2 years in a row my order has sat in processing and is still sitting in processing today. In order to finish my outside decoration, I had may daughter in Arizona pick up the 2 pieces of garland needed. Downside the online price is 8.99 and the instore price 11.99. In addition to payig the additional money for the items them I had to pay additional for shipping. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM Joannes. I will not purchase instore nor online. They really are the worst.

Order pick up took 4 days. When I arrived for curbside. I waited 30 mins and finally went in. Have another order that was ordered on November 23rd. It's still waiting pick up and it's December 11th!

Shipping time is ridiculous. I have stuff coming from China that will be here before they have even shipped my items. I will never order online again

This was my favorite store a couple years ago but it’s a dump now. Horrible. No stock on shelves. The floor is filthy. The store is a complete mess. I’ll never shop there again. It’s unshopable.

I was looking online at this stores website and it told me there were 15 items in stock of what I was looking at. I went there and the shelves were pretty much empty (of everything). This store is always poorly stocked and hardly any staff. I know it's a holiday weekend but the shelves were empty and full, unopened boxes lined all the isles. And nobody was there to stock the shelves.
