My wife and I have purchased numerous lights and items from Dekker. When you enter the building you will be shocked as to the actual aize and selection. The staff treats you like family and take the time to speak to you and offer suggestions. Great pricing for a quality product. Well worth the visit and a must see showroom.

The owner is a coward. My wife went to Dekker to purchase a specific wall switch for operating a fan and its lights, providing a model number she received from the manufacturer. Instead of ordering the switch she asked for, he sold her a different switch that he claimed would work. I installed the switch, but it would not operate the fan. After calling the manufacturer, I was informed that he had sold us an incompatible switch. A couple of days later, I returned the switch. While an employee was processing the return and apologizing for my time having been wasted by his misguidance, he sat nearby and let her take responsibility for his error without apologizing himself.
Twenty years ago, this owner took used light fixtures out of his showroom instead of providing the new fixtures we purchased. He did not take responsibility then. Once a coward, always an ungrateful coward.
I purchased the correct switch elsewhere, as I will all future lighting products.
Rebuttal to Justin Dekker's response: Your response in Jeff Dekker's stead confirms my assessment of him being a coward for not accepting responsibility for his mistakes. Perhaps it is time for him to retire or be asked to leave, before he runs off more customers.

I bought this beautiful chandelier from Decker Lighting and I LOVE it. Not only did they have the item I was looking for, but their selection was vast, and the prices were excellent. I had an amazing experience with this company. The customer service was outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for. When it came time to install the chandelier we had a slight issue with a part. Justin and Alec brought the part to our home after hours and even installed it because we rented scaffolding and it needed to be returned or we would be charged a second day as well as pay the installer to come back again. They said they wanted to “make it right”. Wow, you hardly ever hear that anymore. Good customer service is hard to come by these days but I assure you that you will find it at Decker Lighting. Thank you Justin and Alec for going above and beyond.

I highly recommend Dekker lighting. Jeff is very knowledgeable in what he is selling. Very friendly staff. We bought our under cabinet lighting from them. Had a slight problem with the dimmer switch. Went in to exchange it. Karen already had one to exchange it with, but Jef came over and showed me a setting on the switch to make the led lights work. It worked exactly as he said!!You cannot get this service at a big box store!!!

Sold me for $400 completely inadquate exterior lighting which they refused to allow a return. Will not do business with them again.I sent them pictures of the light they were to replace and what they sold me was not even close to something that would replace it.They knew exactly how much light I needed to cover a parking lot and an entrance way and they sold me something that would barely cover a doorway with light. Do not trust these folks because they have no professional judgment.And your response giving me a 10% off discount on a future purchase that I will never make with your company? Thanks but no thanks. I don't do business with people who are so inadequate and so unhelpful. Your prices are exorbitant anyway. You can find much better lighting for much much less on eBay or Amazon.
