Friendly and very helpful staff , the manager was very informative on how to handle and deal with the removal of my old broken part. Although i barely listened to him but midway into removing the old part i was like damn it , he was trying to tell me how to remove this i should’ve listened, after a struggle i eventually found out how to get it out..
that goes to show you that
sometimes it’s just a good thing to stfou and pay attention to what someone is saying to you..

I meant to write this a couple weeks ago but got sidetracked…..I had a Jeep that wouldn’t start without a jumpstart. A bad battery was suspected so off to Autozone we went! When we got there, we met a very kind gentleman by the name of Nathaniel. We had a very insightful conversation about batteries and other stuff and he offered to test the batteries to see if they were bad. Well, one of the batteries was bad and the other needed charging. At that point, the store was closing and we had a dead car in the parking lot! So Nathaniel offered to stay after hours so that he could charge the one battery while we swapped out the other battery. I didn’t bring any of my tools with me to change the battery but Nathaniel was already ready with all the right tools to change out the battery. We finished installing the batteries well after closing time and the car started with no problem! Nathaniel was just so unbelievably helpful that we were blown away by his professionalism, kindness and understanding of us needing to get back on the road so we could pick up the kids on time. He sacrificed his free time, after hours, so that we could get back to our lives. We were humbled to learn that people like him still exist in this crazy world. I will absolutely go back to Autozone, even though there are two other competitors right down the street! You can get parts anywhere….but you’re not guaranteed the service from a guy like Nathaniel. Thank you Nathaniel!!!!

Always helpful staff. Great customer service. Decent prices. I love that it's so close, and that they don't treat me (as a woman) like I'm stupid - even when I ask questions.

I visited the store with an issue. The customer service was excellent. Especially since it was so close to closing; which I hadn’t realized. Vince and Nate assisted me and also pointed out things I needed to be aware of with my vehicle. I received top notch service. I was impressed and grateful. Thank you very much!!!

My wiper blade broke off and so I went into the Schererville location to get it replaced. Since it was a newer blade and it seemed to be a defect in the wiper Nate replaced the blade for me at no charge. After a simple return he then brought the wiper outside to replace it for me along with showing me how to know when the wiper needed to be replaced for next time. Hands down amazing customer service - don’t really find that much these days! Thank you, Nate.

I have never had a bad experience at autozones. Highland, Lowell, Schereville rock. The hammond one does ok. A special shout out has to go to Darko in Schereville In. Coming home late one night minutes b4 closing my engine light came on. Still having a bit of a drive I wanted to know what was up. Darko joyfully scanned n looked it up. Such a great gentleman. Thanks autozone for having great staff.

Absolute rude manager at evening staff.
Had a simple part I need to fix evap system on my muffler. I knew the exact part just needed help with confirmation. First words out of his mouth was oh I can’t help you with that. Didn’t even wanna bother, and then when he did show me parts they were obviously wrong, insanely overpriced and didn’t seem like he knew what he was looking at.
Decided to drive over to advanced auto across the street. Staff member took his time and instantly helped me with everything. Gave me two parts incase the other didn’t work & even threw in spare bolts. Was able to return the part I didn’t need & no hassle. Will be going to Advanced Auto from now on.

Very disappointed! Asked for help for oil change supplies. The clerk decided to first answer the phone first and I was standing there for 10 minutes. Ok fine....maybe callers are more important. He finally calls on me and proceeds toilet me know hwta I need. Fair enough. I go to the parts and start looking for what he advised. Wasted another 5 or to ten minutes looking for the parts. Then I approached him and ask if it was even in stock? He says he doesn't know to just go look! Ugh! He is definitely retired and does this for extra income. He's not what I always thought of autozone. Normally these folks are extremely helpful. So now I'm going across the street to Advance Auto and they can take my business. Shame on you autozone for hiring folks who couldn't care less of customers.
