I have been using this vet for the last year. They seemed great until I had my first litter of puppies. They are not a pro breeder vet! They have been so rude and condensing at every appointment since confirming the litter. The only thing they offered was a "pamphlet" (aka a print out off google). Today I took my girl in for mastitis. She is currently nursing 9 puppies. Dr. Underwood informed me that my girl would have to quit nursing and would need to be spayed. She gave me a can of puppy formula with a bottle and said "good luck". I immediately took my girl for a second opinion. The new vet was able to give her an injection and antibiotics....all while keeping the pups nursing and mamma not needing to be spayed. I highly suggest if you aren't pro spay and neuter....find another vet!! Also, consider that because of their opinion of breeding they very easily could have put my girl and her babies at serious risk!

My nephew cat was brought here and this place gave HORRIBLE service. They put him in a carrier that wasn’t his when he was leaving and left an open wound on him which was noticed when he was taken out of the carrier. Due to the wound he was taken to an ER because Salem Vet Service neglected him. Since it was after hours a call was made to this clinic the following day explaining the concerns. They wanted to “reevaluate” Winston and did a poor job doing so claiming this uncontrollable bleeding was “normal.” They did not reimburse for the ER and ended up doing absolutely nothing. They were completely careless. Now they have deactivated my cousins account at their clinic because he explained to a lady outside that she should be mindful of their neglect. Animals are like humans. If my son was taken to a doctor and was treated poorly I would absolutely mention it to someone coming in the door. This is absolutely uncalled for and they need to be reprimanded. Do NOT take your pets here.

Thank you for your timeliness and compassion today when we had to put my moms dog down. Thank you Brandy whom I spoke to 5 different times today as my mom doesn’t live in town. She was helpful and caring. Thank you to Christi for helping and reassuring me through the process. No one wants to go through this but they definitely helped us through it.

Told us it would be $100.00 per dog to get shots and worm and flee medicine over the phone the when we went to get our 2 dogs back they charged me $545.00. I have taken many of my animals here for years but I will not ever take another one there.
