My sister had a terrible experience at the Salem branch. Had her car for 3 weeks. It still is not fixed. She has paid over$1700 and can't get it home. Poor Customer Service.

Liked the dealership, unfortunately the service department was a very bad experience. I had my 2018 equinox 1.6 L diesel worked on for a DPF. I was reassured that it was a cracked pipe causing my problem. After several questions about why , how, and If the tech felt it was the issue. Oh, plus $1,000 repair. For a $150 part. I took the vehicle home.
So I drove the car the same day for 100 miles, same warning light, DPF. Called and talked to service. Said I had to bring it back, get it on the diagnostic machine again. They would take care of problem if it was something they did. The problem here is they misdiagnosed the problem first go around. Now they want more money. Of coarse they do!!!! I chose to take the vehicle to a shop that is more confident in there repairs plus someone to stand behind there work. Not a shop that just keeps gouging you for more money.
I would not recommend John Jones service department for these reasons. I tried to buy local again, but after this experience, I will give my $$$$ to someone else.
I'm sure JJ will respond that they are sorry like other times. They will find reasons why it's my fault.
I've bought plenty new and used cars over the years, but have never been taken advantage of like this dealership has.

My sales guy (Kevin Osborne) was EXCELLENT! He went above & beyond on every occasion! He needs a promotion! I had some unfortunate issues at first but they did everything to accommodate me & make it right. & since I live FAR away, & wanted my truck asap he drove it to me himself instead of making me wait another day for a driver.

I bought a 2017 Ford Edge Titanium less than a year ago after my car was hit and totaled while parked in fron of my house. I haven't had the car a year and I haven't even put 2,000 miles on the car I purchased from John Jones. There was a pea sized crack on the winshield that I thought at the time was a bug until I got the car washed, and I called and talked to the salesman who was a total jerk (gross understatment), and he even encouraged me to go online and leave a bad review. The winshield repair was almost $300, I had to get floor mats and a cargo cover, and then it was $258 for a new key fob. Now here it is and I've had to have $785 worth of engine work done on this vehicle. I think their great reviews are probably written by employees and friends. DO NOT buy a a car from this dealership!!!! I will be contacting the sate as Indiana still has Lemon Laws.
