GOODWILL Store of St. John, IN is conveniently located with easy access off Rt. 41 & is set back among other brick & mortar stores. The building is spacious and I found it housed a large amount of items. Racks of clothing were predominant and filled the center of the store as well as dresses along the perimeter right. I found them to be arranged neatly by size and occasion wear. There was not a great selection of formalwear this day (hit or miss) & I was hoping for additional dot savings but none on this particular day. Walking toward the back of the store I found shoes as well as linens for the kitchen and various packaged beddings & household appliances. I did not see much furniture and was disappointed that this GOODWILL does not carry costume jewelry …the store clerk confirming this. All in all I was hoping for better luck. Of itself the donation center was clean, organized and does have particular sales days for its customers. If you register at checkout you can be notified of special sales, days & dates which is nice. There is no cost to do so & seniors get 10% off ticket prices. I am not affiliated with GOODWILL Stores & this review is my opinion only.

I'm not sure what's going on over there...L.O.L doll PACKAGE.. NO DOLL! $5.99Used, kids size bean bag chair $50Walmart brand clothing priced higher than what they sell new in the store, even if it's ripped or stained.I once saw a rock for $3.99, not even a cool rock. Just a fist sized, brown dumpy rock with dirt on it that I could pick up off the side of any road. Why?? ...

This place was good when they opened but not anymore. PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS! Items that are from dollar tree start at $3.99. Everything is priced too high for things they get DONATED. I stopped going there. Recently I checked in to see if it had improved and it is worse! Barely anything on the shelves, they had a lunch meat container for $5.99 Trash they were selling. This store won’t be open long with the price gouging that is going one. Why would anyone buy something used for more money than they can get it new for?! $7.99 for USED tshirts. Cheaper at any new store. They got rid of furniture.Staff is rude when you can find then.I would give them a negative 5 if I could. So disappointed in the downfall of goodwill.

I have shopped for years at the Goodwill all over NWI. However, the prices have gone through the roof. I went to the St. John Indiana location looking for a few items. A bath towel $5.99 and $6.99, baby blankets $12.99, tank tops $8.99, pants $12.99..these are all "used" and "donated" items!! People DONATE items to help those who can't afford to buy new or are just struggling a bit financially. Seriously, $6-$7 for a used bath towel? Pants $12.99. Ross, TJ Maxx and Marshall's are the same or less for brand new. They have overhead and employees to pay too. I don't understand why "free-donated" items are being sold for so much. How is that helping those in need? Please rethink you major hike in prices. People gave freely to you to help others in need..you are way overpriced for used goods.

Everything in this store is overly priced. You can buy brand new in a regular store for almost the same price.??
