Nice campground but hosts are very very rude. Got screamed at for truck slightly in the rocks, went through vehicles because they swore didn’t have gate passes, (but we did). Drove to the shower house for 5 minutes only to come back to find they threw a bucket of water on the fire and went all through our site. Once you have a target on your back they will try to find every single thing wrong. I will definitely not be back these hosts need taken out of the parks system, very disappointed.

We love going to Tipsaw every year for a family get together using the group site..it is perfect for all our family...the campsite is not always mowed when we arrive..more than once we have had to weed eat ourselves to knock down weeds before we could set up camp ..and the hiking trails were not passable in some places...other than that it is always a very enjoyable experience..

Beautiful, moderate loop with lake views. We did run into a couple of uncontained Great Pyrenees that caused us to turn around at the far southwest end of the lake so we didn't make it to the beachside of the lake. We were hiking with our dogs and didn't want to risk an interaction.Restrooms: Pit toiletsDog-friendliness: Yes, a great trail for dogs!

It’s been yrs since I been here but I can remember such great memories at this place. Walking on trails fishing swimming in the lake when restrooms and showers was rebuild also riding bikes down a hill plus it was always so clean and peaceful.

Very quiet, staff is very friendly and cordial. We didn't get to explore much this weekend due to the severe weather. Photos are site #5Dog-friendliness: We have dogs, and love to use the portable fences. The Indiana State Parks have banned these fences. We are done with the Indiana state parks.

Nature lovers rejoice! Large sites tucked into forest land. Herds of deer, beautiful box turtles (drive slow) and more bird species than you can name. Staff are friendly and quick to deliver ice and wood.
Only snafu was bathrooms closed, 4 of 7 days and showers closed 7 days during my stay. Supposed painter issue. Communication was poor but that is on the management company FINE. Beautiful place for peace and quiet and being in nature. Really hard to find places like this anymore.

Nice place to camp, especially if you aren't a big rig - most sites aren't very level. The gal at the guard shack was very helpful in suggesting sites that work best for us (41' 5th wheel) - we were fine. Nice lake for fishing, kayaking etc. We hiked the trail around lake. It was well marked. If hiking in spring or after a lot of rain, you probably want to where waterproof shoes/boots. There were quite a few crossings where water should be running. We were there beginning of Oct. and it was all dry.

Beautiful area, but don't try going on the hiking/biking trail that they have marked as 6.5 miles. We got a ways in and the trail just stopped as it was all overgrown. Disappointed they have this marked as a trail.
