I hired them for service in March, they strung me along until October after promising me multiple times my taxes would be done before the extension was up. They were not completed even after being promised the week before they would be via text message. The. I receive a message to come into the office to answer a few questions the following week, be big deal. The day of the appointment I received a call from the owner 1 hour prior to my appointment time (I live an hour away) to cancel my appointment, and was informed THEY CAN NO LONGER OBTAIN ME AS A CLIENT!!!! I had to start from square 1! Never in my life experienced anything like this! They said it was a staffing issue.

Professional. Engaged. Equipped. These are my top three words I can use to describe Jane Smiley CPA Inc. The burden of tax preparation isn’t getting any easier, yet the staff at JSCPA manage to relieve a lot of the weight and personal concern their clients must shoulder. I have found them to be well adapted to the ever changing tax code, as well as utilizing cutting edge software that makes my world a nicer place to live. Lastly and most importantly, they do all of this with a heart for customer service. They understand the client as well as the tax code. I am thankful they keep me in good graces with Uncle Sam. Jane Smiley CPA did my personal taxes for years and we were always happy but I had no idea how happy I could be with them until I approached them about helping me launch SweetWork. They are amazing. They now do my corporate tax return, they process my company payroll, and they set up my QuickBooks and have taught me how to use it. They have even given me financial and legal insights to help me think through all aspects of my business. They have been my biggest partner in successfully launching my company.
