There are many different Walgreens in the area, but this one is the very, very worst that I’ve seen. The vast majority of products are under lock and key, which is made worse by the fact that there is little or no staff available to get the products. The lamentably small amount of products that are not under lock and key include the beverages, which when you look at them, you can see why immediately. The cooler is practically empty. There have also been multiple times that I have come to this store during business hours only to be sent away because they said they were short staffed. They have plenty of money to put into expensive security measures, but none to hire sufficient staff. They make a lot of mistakes when they check people out as well, it’s never in the customers favor either. If you try to approach a manager with any kind of concerns, you can be sure to meet a very defensive person. This place is the worst of the worst.

My primary pharmarcy store!
The staff are all courteous , friendly and make every effort to address your concerns, assist you to find items and check prices if you are not sure.
If necessary, the male staff will assist you with large or heavy purchase items.
The pharmarcy staff are attentative, professional and patient. I always recieve updates on my prescriptions/ annual shots needed, and they are always willing to assist you with Q&A and how your medication may affect you. They often know customers by their first names.

I called the pharmacy and was on hold for one hour seven minutes before being able to speak to someone in the pharmacy. As a doctor, I call many pharmacies, and I have never had customer service this bad.

Just as bad as the Walgreens that was on Thurston Road. Eventually this one will close. They do not answer the phone. Was on hold for almost an hour. Ignore you while standing waiting to pick up a prescription. Dangerous health practice. Needs to be investigated by the NYS Health Dept.

It's better to go in than call. The wait time to speak with a live person is over 30 minutes.

When you select curbside option they do not bring it outside, you still have to go in. This is obviously not ideal if you need to buy a self Covid test. Associates are friendly but do not plan to order curbside

They got things done. It just took longer than it should. Take spare time when planning it.

Wouldn’t vaccinate my husband even though he has a Covid comorbidity under NYS guidelines. Walgreens is extremely vague about what kind of documentation they require (if any) on their website and hotline (we consulted both and found nothing, and their phone system in stores just redirects back to the website and hotline so there’s no one to ask). So, when the dispensing pharmacist— not his doctor— decided in her opinion that he didn’t have one, that was that.
People will continue to die unnecessarily because of this kind of gatekeeping and withholding vaccines from people who need it.

Manager unprofessional, child like attitude. I am in disbelief she is manager of any company. Her disposition is nasty and I see why your business had no customers. Its sad that nasty attitudes and unprofessionals are what you encounter when stepping foot in your store but never again.
