Don't go to Rochester Homes without making an appointment, they aren't good for drop-ins.Their homes are nice, but for manufactured homes, you expect to save money. The pricing wasn't money-saving in my mind. You purchase the home for around $170,000 or more then still have to buy land, a garage, a septic, & well. You now have a 1 to 2-bedroom home over $200,000. You can buy a stick/brick home already on the market for that.

To Whom It May Concern,We moved into our new Rochester Heritage home in May of this year and there have been several issues. To begin with, whoever does the drywall does a horrible job! Our contractor had to do a lot of touchups and there are still so many issues with bumps and dents and corners are a mess! We aren’t even able to paint until those issues are complete. The fan in our spare bathroom hasn’t worked since we did our initial inspection, we have trim that doesn’t go together, cracking in our shower (which I understand can happen with transportation), our island has gouges on the sides, our screen door doesn’t work on our sliding glass door, the actual whole sliding glass door is off, our master sink faucet doesn’t turn on right and so much more!Who does the inspections on these homes? Why are they shipped out in this condition so that the contractor has to deal with it and we are still waiting for these issues to be fixed by Clark Homes of Mt. Pleasant. They keep saying they are waiting for parts from you but it has been almost 2 months now and nothing! Why are we paying for a home that has so many issues as a brand new house? I can see a couple little things but like in the drywall that is the whole house!I believe someone needs to look more closely at these issues and not be so fast to send them out in poor condition!Any kind of compensation would be nice for the inconvenience. I’m not going to recommend others buy a Rochester home if this is the quality they would expect to get and then have to wait for months for the issues to be fixed.I did my homework and Rochester was highly rated so that was why we went with you along with the very nice features.I hope someone would respond and give me some answers. I sent this in an e-mail and also through Facebook Messenger and was never responded to.Thanks for your time and hope this helps to improve your homes for others in the future.Wendy Taylor

We moved into our Rochester home at the end of March 2023, and we couldn't be happier with the final product! We were able to customize our floorplan to give us everything we wanted in a home. We were also thrilled with the finishes available - by combining cabinets, countertops, upgraded windows, and siding through Rochester and then outsourcing flooring, fireplace, and tile work we were able to create our dream home. We have been extremely happy with the craftsmanship and efficiency. We have recommended to several of our family/friends and are big fans of modular homes!

One of your drivers was speeding over 75 miles an hour on 31 Forcing me to do the same because I was in the left lane. If this is the type of contractors you employ, you need to remind them that they are driving a company vehicle and representing your brand.

I work for LaPorte Housing Specialists, a Builder/Dealer for Rochester Homes. There is alot of work and detail that goes into building a home, and Rochester is the best in the business, by making it a smooth process and simple to understand. They also offer many options; from 9' ceilings, ceramic shower, quartz countertops, etc.Having options and the ability to customize the home to fit your needs is key when building a home, and Rochester Homes is the best at providing this for our clients. Whether you need a 1,000 square foot home with hardly any options, or a 2,000 square foot home with almost every option possible, Rochester Homes is the best choice!

Even with Covid trying to interfere with the building of our home, Rochester Homes made our dreams come true. We were very happy with the process and the completion of our beautiful home.

I bought the Carrington model, added the 2 car garage and front porch. Home is very well built, my heating bills are very low for a 1600sf home. I very pleased.

Moved in my dream home only to find uneven doors, trim, pendant and can lights as well as a myriad of other issues. The ceramic tile setting in my shower looks like it was installed by a 10 year old. Very disappointed as I would categorize this prefab construction as shoddy!!

We purchased a Rochester Home from Pine Ridge Homes. We were very pleased with their ability to customize all we wished for. It is wonderful to be able to pick out the options for cabinets, hardware, trim, flooring, siding, etc at the beginning of the home ordering process rather than multiple trips to the home improvement store during the building process! We were very happy with the quality of the construction of the home. Our finished house does not look like a mobile home. I appreciated the quality brand name components like Delta Faucets, Corning Shingles, etc. We were able to upgrade the cabinets, go to a 9’ ceiling, choose wood trim and solid wood doors. We would recommend Rochester homes and feel our home will hold up to many years of family use. Thanks!

I would give Rochester 5 stars but the builder they have for a dealer only gets 3. Rochester makes an excellent custom home. The dealer builder, is good for structural issues, though he left me with water drainage issues. I had to buy an expensive dehumidifier and extended drainage tube to get pooled water trapped below the concrete floor in the crawl space to the sump pump. My builder said the pump is not designed to drain water and assured us the crawl space would be dry. But 3 leaks occurred and mold set in. That sump pump came in handy. He also has a tendency to get angry and endlessly defend if you asks questions. The house was also set low so I had to shovel dirt up against the foundation. Yes, it may take a year (contract agreed) for him to get done no matter what he estimates. 1. Make sure to have an attorney help create an addendum to the contract BEFORE your builder has YOU sign. 2. Make your lender assist you to read and check periodic payments BEFORE the next you make. Consumer Credit Union is excellent in Michigan.

I very much enjoy my Rochester home. Some of its special feature are the large master bedroom walk-in closet, the walk-in shower, the wonderful walk-in pantry (which my daughter-in-law says I could dance in), and the living room fire place. It seems to be very well made and I have not had any major issues with it. It is my special retirement oasis.

We love how you allowed us to make a custom plan from your standard Allentown layout with all the options offered to create our own customized and furnished home. Placing the HVAC system in the crawl space gave us more storage space in the utility room. With the insulation quality; our furnace averages running about once an hour and on sunny days; it doesn't run at all. We love it.

It’s been almost 1 year since we have been in our home that was built by Rochester Homes and we are very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of the home! We would recommend this builder to anyone thinking about putting up a modular home!
