As some of the other reviews stated, very rude people upon entering. Was told I wasn't able to view animals even though the animal control officer was telling me about one she had dropped off recently that was just the sweetest. The rude women in there said the AC officer misspoke, there were no new dogs there. AC officer even said this place was one of the worst places she has to deal with. Will never recommend or return.

Just cats in house here, dogs are fostered in different places. Rhonda was very helpful and their animals are all well cared for.

This shelter is so sad and depressing! I think it's odd too that I couldn't walk back to see the dogs, needed an appointment. Are they being properly treated and cared for?? Bad vibes.

I attempted to meet to not one but TWO dogs in need of a home. I live over an hour away and I work during their regular operating hours. I was accommodated to have a meet and greet with the two pups during the early hours of the morning. As I was on my way, I called the shelter to inform them of my arrival and I’m glad I did. BOTH dogs had been adopted and I was not notified. The crew there were very unprofessional, not to mention inconsiderate.

I adopted a supposed to be spayed cat from this shelter last month at the Indy Mega Adoption Event and she is currently in heat. I called to tell them yesterday and her response was that I had to call the vet that did it. I called left a voicemail and no one has called me back. I called this shelter again today and spoke to a woman and her response was "she wasn't in heat when she was here".......so what does that have to do with anything she's in it now. They don't care at all and are no help whatsoever just interested in making money and don't care about the animals

Very caring and is a NO KILL facility. Operates on a limited budget and can use monetary donations.

This place was a damn disgrace last time I saw it. I hope those animals get out of there soon. Poor things, and mean people
